Loved the location. The condo was very comfortable and clean! The views of downtown Chicago are great from every room. Everyone in the building, especially the Doormen were so helpful and nice. I had everything I needed for just a wonderful stay!

Chicago getaway

We spent the month of March in Chicago (not the best weather, but…). The condo is lovely with everything you would want for an month long stay; Chris was extremely responsive. We had a great time visiting Chicago - what a wonderful city!!

Center of Downtown Chicago activity

Excellent location enables walking to everything. The Condo was fully stocked with everything needed for long-term living. Just bring your clothes and start enjoying all that Chicago offers. The Hosts were very responsive and there were no shortcomings living here.

Chicago Vacation

Excellent vacation in Chicago again. Same condo as last time and just as nice as we remembered it. Very comfortable with all of the convenience of home. Great views and comfortable furniture and beds. Handy washer and dryer. Great location for walking anywhere in the downtown area. Close to Trader Joe’s, Eataly, Whole Foods and Jewel-Osco. Excellent restaurants close by, Bistronomics, Shanghai Terrace and Frontera. Close to Lincoln Park. We look forward to our next visit.

Chicago from the 51st floor

This property is 5-stars or more in all categories. The views from the condo are equally impressive and enhanced our experience. The location is perfect for walking to Michigan Ave., good restaurants, grocery stores and interesting places. The pictures on VRBO accurately portray the condo, which is refreshing. The rooms are nice size and the furniture fits the space. The beds are comfortable, which is big, and the kitchen is well equipped and allowed us to dine in, when not in the mood to go out. The building has many amenities, which support my 5-star rating. The property manager is very responsive and excuse free. If we could have one thing added to the bedrooms, it would be black-out shades, to make them completely dark. In summary, WE WILL BE BACK.

Perfect Chicago Condo

Wonderful stay at Chris and Jim's condo. With a fabulous location, walking distance to the lake, shopping and great restaurants nearby, plus bus and subway stops less than 2 blocks away, the entire city can be discovered. We have stayed in this building a number of times now and are always very pleased. A courteous and professional management staff, always looking out for resident’s comfort and safety. Jim and Chris are outstanding owners, extremely responsive throughout our stay. The unit itself is beautifully decorated and updated with every modern convenience. Excellent accommodations with comfy beds and linens, huge walk-in closets, and first-rate bathrooms. All furnishings were tip top, flat screen TVs in bedrooms and living room. Plus, full size in unit washer/dryer. There is nothing one needs to do other than bring clothes and have a good time. We are looking forward to our return next year.

Great stay in a very convenient area.

We thoroughly enjoyed the building and the condo. The condo was exactly what we needed for our stay. It was convenient for family and friends to visit. The front staff were always pleasant and helpful. We were pleased to meet Jim and Chris. It made the place fell special. Our only concern was the inadequate ventilation in the guest bathroom. On 3 separate occasions each of our guests mentioned how uncomfortable it was with the heat and steam when the door was closed. We reported it to Jim and Chris and they said they would have the building people check it. All in all, a perfect place to stay.

High end condo

We rented this 2 bedroom condo for three months of winter and were so happy we did!! From the doorman, to the building, to the actual condo, everything was wonderful and the people so friendly. The condo was very well equipped with many necessities. It was beautifully decorated and immaculately maintaned. The location was perfect, with grocery stores, retail, and many restaurants all within walking distance. Being on the 51st floor was one of the special highlights. The views were spectacular and we never got tired of looking out over the skyline of Chicago. The owners were always very friendly and responsive. We would definitely rent this again and feel very fortunate to have found it!

Excellent Condo in the Best Location

We enjoyed the high-end decoration, comfort and quality of this 2-bed, 2-bath condo. It’s very clean and comfortable with Stunning South and West views of the city. The location is convenient to everything, including walks to the lakefront or the Riverwalk. With Covid restrictions in place, we walked a lot! Many Fine restaurants and shopping nearby. Our hosts are super responsive and friendly too. We highly recommend this property. We’ll be back next year!

Another great stay

Just as it was the prior year, this unit is outstanding in terms of appointments, location, and value. Owners Jim and Chris are responsive and keep the unit in excellent condition. The views from its 51st floor location are spectacular, especially at night looking south. The building staff is friendly and helpful; the location adjacent to Holy Name Cathedral is great and only a block or two from the nicest part of Michigan Avenue. Hard to do better in our opinion.

Amazing views and location with wondeful amenities

We stayed in this unit for October through December 2018 and found the location, views, and amenities to exceed our expectations. And we know Chicago pretty well with two adult children living there. We doubt there are many accommodations in Chicago with more spectacular views, especially at night looking south downtown. Chris and Jim were extremely accommodating as hosts/owners and always responded quickly to our questions. We needed a second parking spot, for example, which was quickly provided and fairly priced. If you are looking for a well appointed place in a great location for an extended stay, it is hard to beat this unit. We'll be back, as they say.

Amazing!! The Chicago high rise apartment of our dreams!!

We had wanted a Chicago penthouse apartment vacation for many years but never found the perfect place - until we saw this apartment. It was exactly like what we pictured would be the perfect place. We booked it for the month of our 40th anniversary and had a blast. We live in Illinois and love Chicago. We visit the city a couple of times a year. We enjoyed getting to know the city on a different level than just a weekend visit. We visited some old favorite places but discovered some new favorite places. We spent many hours, day and night, sitting in front of the windows gazing at the skyline. This condo is so convenient and close to about everything you ever would want to do in Chicago - theater, sports, museums, shopping and fantastic dining. It is also convenient to everyday life needs such as drug stores. grocery stores and salons plus there is a great workout room right in the building. If you need parking, the garage is secure and clean. The layout of the apartment is great if you have guests. We had friends stay with us a couple of times during the month and each couple said they couldn't even hear there was someone else in the apartment. The staff was friendly and helpful and makes you feel right at home from the beginning of your stay. The hosts (Chris and Jim) are very helpful, nothing is ever a problem. We would highly recommend this apartment if you ever need to or want to stay in Chicago for an extended time.

Whether you want to go out or stay in, this comfortable apartment offers spectacular views. Close to the theater, museums, the Riverwalk, public transportation, restaurants, and grocery stores. We stayed in the summer so we enjoyed walking. We didn’t need a car. It was perfect.

Best place to stay in River North Chicago!

Loved everything about our stay in this beautiful condo! The views are spectacular; kitchen was very functional; the beds are so comfortable; the bathrooms and closets nice sizes. The living area was very comfortable and perfect for our needs. The condo is so close to everything- shopping, grocery stores, nail and hair salons, restaurants, mag mile, hospital, theatres, and so much more. The owners made themselves available if questions. Can’t wait to rent there again!

Wow! What a great month this has been!

The condo has been spectacular both in what it provided and as a base for venturing out. It’s so well furnished and situated with captivating views of the city. We went all over to museums, theater and concerts, tours, and restaurants, by public transportation and driving. We were near our son and his family to enjoy their pursuits and they came here often. Our siblings came for overnight stays. Sunrises and sunsets, even rain and wind, from high above the streets capped every day. Thanks to Chris and Jim for what you offer.

we spent the month of september 2016 in chris' condo on the 51st floor. the unit itself was perfect in every respect - views, decor etc. the location was ideal for exploring the highlights of downtown chicago. the building staff was cordial and helpful. chris was a delight to deal with in the entire rental process. we expected a lot, and we were extremely pleased. strongly recommend this vrbo rental. dave

Outstanding Accommodations and Location!!!

This condo was amazing. Beautiful and updated accommodations, best location in the area and the city views from the 51st floor are breathtaking. The owners, Jim & Chris, have seen to it that you have all the comforts of home. The people working and living in the building are very friendly. We could not have chosen a more perfect location for touring the City of Chicago; everything is within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Chris is an amazing host. I was transitioning from Washington DC back to Chicago. I had the good fortune to find this apartment and stayed for four months until we found a permanent home. This was the most wonderful experience. The apartment is in a perfect location for work or play. It feels like home. It had everything you need. Plus the most spectacular views!!! great condo location

We had such a wonderful experience with our stay in the condo and every detail was thought of to make it feel like it was home. The bedrooms, bathrooms and living area were large and very comfortable especially those breathtaking views on the 51st floor. All the basic necessities were there for our use with the highest quality of materials like sheets, towels, dishes, appliances, etc. The owners were extremely receptive to any questions we had and even made a very long drive to town to help us with the remote for the television. We really appreciated the care and consideration they displayed. The fitness room was great and the proximity to the shopping and restaurants was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for better. We would definitely consider staying in the condo again . Thank you for making our stay so wonderful and enjoyable.

Beautiful Condo, Great Stay

The first thing that needs to be said for this condo is that the pictures really don't do it justice. The living area and master bedroom were much more spacious than we had expected. Everything was even nicer than the pictures made it look, especially the views. The closets and bathrooms were large (especially the master closet) and well appointed, much more so than any other Chicago apartment we've seen. The basic necessities like kitchen utensils, towels and sheets were all high quality and practically brand new. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond when we had questions or issues. And they were a pleasure to rent from. Beyond those details, the location was perfect. It would be extremely difficult to imagine a better location - 2 blocks west of Michigan Avenue, so great dining, entertainment and the beach are all an easy walk, but the surrounding streets were relatively quiet and low traffic.

Wow!

51st floor view of Chicago! Two blocks off Michigan Ave! The most frequent comment when guests walked in was WOW! This condo is up-to-date. The owners pay attention to the details and are available to assist you with your stay. Convenient parking in the condo garage. Excellent fitness center with equipment available anytime of the day. Grocery, drug stores etc are two blocks away. Easy walking to all the great, world class restaurants on Rush Street and Michigan Ave. We are making plans to return!

You couldn't ask for a nicer rental in Chicago!

For any of you looking for a beautiful, well equipped, condo with gorgeous views and amenities, I would highly recommend this rental. The owners take wonderful care of the unit and make sure it is in pristine condition for your arrival. They also are very quick to help you with any issue you may have and I found them to be extremely nice, helpful and caring. The condo is centrally located and within walking distance of any place we needed/wanted to go. Trader Joe's, Jewel and Whole Foods are all about a three-five minute walk as well as all of the shopping on the Magnificent Mile. It also has a very well appointed gym in the building that we used quite often. We rented at a few other units in the building before this one became available and their was no comparison to this amazing place! With having to be away from home for several months, we were very fortunate to have rented this unit for five of the nine months we were in Chicago. Kudos to the owners for caring about their rental and making it much more affordable than other properties in the building or nearby. If we ever come back to Chicago, we will definitely stay here again!!!

Why they chose this property

From the moment we walked into this condo and saw the views all around us (corner unit), we know we had to have it. We totally rehabbed the condo - everything is new, we even moved walls and changed the layout. No other unit in the building is like ours. You will love it. My favorite place to sit is the double swivel chair in the entertainment area. It's a great place to relax!

What makes this property unique

Walk to everything! Even public transportation is nearby if you don't care to walk. The condo is in a perfect location. Or if you're simply staying around, the hotel-like amenities are fabulous! There's a beautiful pool area, large sundeck with Weber grills, a spacious fitness center with your own TVs, and even a business center should you need it.
