Beautiful property with lots of unique spaces to gather and enjoy the water views. We had 3 generations of family staying there and everyone felt comfortable and relaxed in the house. Very secluded but still close enough to town and the waterfront.

The home had the most amazing long range river views from inside and outside. The living and kitchen area accommodated our large crowd (11 adults) with ease. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and will be back.

Bayside South was a wonderful setting for our Christmas this year. It was very comfortable, and nicely accommodated our party of nine. The Christmas decorations were beautiful and set the Holiday mood well. This was one of the best stocked rentals we have ever stayed at. And the river view was outstanding.

Rented the property for my daughter’s graduation from ECU. So glad we picked this tranquil spot to stay rather than the city! The house has lots of space, the kitchen is well stocked with essentials, and the view from the living room is spectacular! Most of our time was spent sitting in the yard just talking! Enjoyed sun rises on the pier and some fishing, even though the fish weren’t biting much!

Cousin vacation

My grandchildren called this the “Cousin Vacation”! We had a wonderful time watching the children play in the water, fishing from the pier, and making bubbles and playing kickball in the yard. The fish were biting and the weather was perfect. The sunrise was beautiful and different each morning. A very private beautiful place to spend with family. The house was clean and adequately supplied all we needed for the weekend. Easy check in and checkout. Hope to come again and create more memories.

Wedding week

My family came together for a wedding in Washington. after some check in issues were quickly resolved we found ourselves quite at home. The house, while a bit of a drive, was perfect for us. We are a large group, 5 adult siblings with children from 8 to 20. Despite some weather issues, the property offered space for play and exploration and the house was comfortable for large and small conversations. I couldn't believe there were enough beds for us all!

Members of my extended family and I stayed here from TH 10/24-Sunday 10/27 for lodging while attending my daughter's wedding in Washington, NC. We could not have asked for a more perfect spot for our crew of 12 adults and 3 little boys! The home is VERY spacious and clean, the beds were all comfortable and the kitchen and baths are well stocked. The owner, Irene, is very responsive and helpful. The gorgeous setting simply cannnot be beat! The view over the Pamlico River is outstanding and the privacy of the large property is great. We all enjoyed the hot tub and fishing off the terrific dock, and time spent lounging in the comfy Adirondack chairs! The kids were glued to a PacMan game many times throughout our stay. I highly recommend this home for anyone, especially if you have a large group to accommodate. You will NOT be disappointed!

Beautiful River front home for family gathering

The home sits on beautiful property overlooking the river. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our family gathering. The bedrooms were spacious and has plenty of seating for meal times. This is a true gem to find. The guys caught fish all weekend from the dock, we enjoyed the view of sunrises and sunsets from the abundance of outdoor seating. Amazing home, great hosts, very easy to work with. I highly recommend this rental for a family gathering. We were in town for our sons college graduation from East Carolina University. The drive in to Greenville is an easy drive about 35 minutes. It was very nice to get out of Greenville and the graduation crowd and come back to the Blounts Creek. We will definitely plan to stay here again if in this area.

Pierce Wedding

My family and I stayed here for my sons wedding at Fox Hollow Farms. It was about 20 min from the venue and was an easy drive. The house and the room it gave us was amazing. It was cold so we didn’t get to enjoy the water of course but the view each morning was great. Coming back to it each day after wedding prep was very relaxing and so much better than hotel room.

Family Reunion at Blount's Creek

This house was roomy and very attractive. We were very comfortable. The location was amazing. We could watch the sunrise, and then later watch the moon rise over the water. It was very private and quiet. It made for a memorable family gathering.
