Before I moved to Dallas, I lived in this cozy little house located two blocks away from the beautiful downtown city of Rusk.

Why they chose this property

When I lived in Corpus Christi Tx, I worked for Texas Parks & Wildlife Department.
I patrolled the beach in Mustang Island State Park.
Due to my mechanical skills I was offered a job transfer and promotion if I would move to the city of Rusk and worked at the Texas State Railroad State Park. At the Railroad, I worked on the railroad cars and the steam and diesel locomotives.
Rusk is a beautiful little town surrounded by a beautiful forest. The three bedroom house was perfect for me.
The house is located on Main Street right in the middle of most businesses. Every essential business is within walking distance from my house and this makes it easier to buy groceries pay bills or even go out to eat dinner.

What makes this property unique

I love nature and owning a property in the middle of the city located in a pinewood forest I had to give critters the right to live their lives as intended. So I turned two thirds of my property into a wildlife sanctuary.
I have almost three quarters of an acre and most of my backyard is completely untouched so that wildlife in town can thrive. My backyard sounds like a jungle at times as birds and small creatures move around and make noise. Guests who wish to listen to the critters living deep in my backyard, I strongly suggest they cover themselves with mosquito repellent because they are horrible.
The vegetation is wild and it’s home to small creatures who are more scared of you than you are of them.
