This contemporary home with open concept living spaces is located on the south coast in Chalk Sound in the upscale private community of Harbour Gates at the end of a quiet cul de sac. Indulge in spacious outdoor living areas - a private pool, a fabulous deck & terrace with stunning wood accents. Beautifully landscaped. Paradise.
Whether sipping cocktails or morning coffee, the outdoor spaces were designed to maximize guests' abilities to enjoy our tropical & temperate climate day or night. Relax and recline on the comfortable loungers & get sun-drenched by day and stargaze at the dazzling constellations at night. The impressive wood paneled terrace provides not only shade, but it's an elegant and comfortable milieu to enjoy al fresco dining. Don't feel like cooking? Las Brisas Restaurant & Bar is only a short walk away, and overlooks Chalk Sound National Park and its hypnotic and surreal shades of 'chalky' turquoise water. Go from pool to beach in 2 minutes! We provide a wagon, large cooler and folding beach chairs. The waters are calm & shallow for about 50 feet from shore. Perfect for floating and playing ... or just floating. Here on this west-facing beach, the sunsets are spectacular. Taylor Bay is equally calm and shallow and just a short drive away. A little longer than Sapodilla Bay, this beach is perfect to enjoy a morning walk, or another sunset perspective.

Everything about our stay at Sapodilla by the Sea exceeded our expectations. It is a small house, which we knew in advance, but the space worked very well. The outdoor space is perfect and very private. Everything was clean and well thought out. It was probably the best stocked VRBO we have ever stayed at in terms of bath towels, beach towels, kitchen accessories...all of the little things that make a stay convenient and comfortable. The walk to the beach is easy, the community is very safe and clean, and we were very happy with the location. We would absolutely return to this property.

We stayed at this property two years ago and loved it. When we found it again online and available for the time we wanted we jumped on it. This time we were just as happy with the home. We love having the pool and even though it is not heated it was great and we used it every day. Being so close the beach is awesome. We saw dolphins at our beach twice. The home is very comfortable for four adults. it has everything you need including laundry detergent and dishwasher soap. Plenty of towels for the pool/beach and the shower. Having the wagon and chairs and umbrella for the beach was very helpful. The only thing is I wish there were 4 floaties. The communication with the management company was excellent. They met us at the house when we got there. They answered any questions we had and went above and beyond when the only person who could drive our rental got sick and we couldn’t go get medicine they went and got it for us and brought it to us within 20 minutes.
