The former pheasantry, later a forest cabin, has been renovated with great attention to detail and now welcomes nature-loving guests as a holiday rental. With its simple yet cosy furnishings and the building’s rustic, traditional charm, Das wilde Auwaldhaus exudes a warm atmosphere while helping guests recalibrate their expectations.
A 5,000-square-meter fenced-in natural property featuring a stream, pond, teepees, play areas, and secluded spots allows young and old alike to immerse themselves in the tranquility of the forest.
The Wild Auwaldhaus is a single-story building divided into three separate holiday apartments. It comfortably accommodates about 20 people, making it ideal for larger families, groups, or group holidays.
Each apartment in the Wild Auwaldhaus features a terrace that invites you to enjoy the tranquility of the forest. There are also several covered outdoor seating areas that allow for a pleasant time outdoors even when it rains. The cosy living areas invite you to immerse yourself in the relaxing atmosphere of the house.
A tiled stove and two fireplaces in each holiday apartment create a cosy warmth and a comfortable atmosphere.



Holiday Rental:

The “Wildes Auwaldhaus” is a single-story building divided into three separate holiday rentals. It comfortably accommodates over 20 people, making it ideal for larger families, groups, or shared holiday stays.
Each apartment in the Wildes Auwaldhaus features a terrace that invites you to enjoy the tranquility of the forest. There are also several covered outdoor seating areas that allow you to enjoy the outdoors even when it rains. The cosy living areas invite you to immerse yourself in the relaxing atmosphere of the house.
A tiled stove and two fireplaces in each holiday apartment create a cosy warmth and a comfortable atmosphere.



On-site costs: • Adults (ages 17 and up): 35 €/night • Final cleaning fee: 40 € (one-time) • Towels & bed linens provided on-site • plus electricity at 0.50 kW/h and heating costs based on usage, payable on-site

Wir suchten einen ruhigen Ort und wurden fündig. Die rustikale Hütte bot Gemütlichkeit, Charme und ein Gefühl der Geborgenheit. Wer einen sterilen, eintönigen Aufenthalt erwartet, wird enttäuscht sein. Doch wer Ruhe, Entspannung und die Wunder der Natur sucht, wird hier fündig! Der Gastgeber war unglaublich freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir fühlten uns sofort wie zu Hause und waren begeistert von unserer kleinen Oase mit ihren liebevoll handgefertigten Möbeln und antiken Details. Das Anwesen ist wie Peter Pans Nimmerland für Kinder und Erwachsene gleichermaßen. Schaukeln, Tipis, Baumhäuser und eine vielfältige Flora und Fauna erwarten Sie! Ich werde diesen Ort nie vergessen und hoffe, bald wiederzukommen.

Wildes Auwaldhaus 08/2022

Objekt und Vermieter habe ich bereits durch jeweils 5 Sterne gewürdigt. Wegen fehlerhafter Arbeit der Agentur wäre aber beinahe der ganze Urlaub geplatzt. Sie hatte die Reservierung bis zum 11.08. vorgenommen, das Objekt war aber nur bis zum 10.08. frei. Wegen dieses fehlenden Tages konnte die dritte gebuchte Person die Reise nicht antreten und wir anderen wollten deshalb ganz verzichten. Den Vermietern sei Dank, dass noch eine akzeptable Lösung gefunden wurde.

Spinnen im Kellermuff, Hütte von Tanz der Teufel war sauberer...

Als wir ankamen, fragten wir uns ob es wohl die Hütte von den Bildern ist... anders als auf den Inseratfotos, war die Hütte völlig zugewuchert. Der schmale Weg zur Hütte war voll mit Brennnesseln. Warum schneidet man diese nicht zurück? Die Hütte war voller dicker Spinnenweben von außen. Die Terassenmöbel waren dreckig. Es handelte sich nicht um ein paar Spinnennetze, es waren dicke alte Weben. Auch eine Waldhütte kann man sauer und gepflegt halten. Innen angekommen begrüßte uns ein unangenehmer Kellermuff. So intensiv und stinkend. Das hatte nichts mit "ein bisschen Wald und Natur" zu tun. Es stank einfach. Nach einer Nacht in der Hütte stanken unsere Taschen, Müllbeutel und vor allem unsere Klamotten (auch die, die noch im Koffer waren). Die Küche war auf den ersten Blick sauber. Das Geschirr jedoch nicht. Fettfilm in den Schüsseln, Tote fliegen in Töpfen und Wasserkocher (der eine intensive Entkalkung nötig hätte). Das "Schlafzimmer" bestand aus einem Holzgestell mit Schaumstoffauflage (Matratze kann man das nicht nennen). In der Ecke hing ein alter Fichtenzweig mit Lichterkette. Im Zweig summten Mücken und fliegen vor sich hin. Das Klo war sauber , jedoch keine seife oder Handtücher. Zum Hände waschen musste man in den "Duschraum" gehen. Das Wohnzimmer... viele Sitzgelegenheiten, die den Muff an sich haften hatten. Nach einem genaueren Blick, waren innen genau so dicke Spinnenester wie außen. Diese waren sichtbar von Wolfsspinnen bewohnt. 5 Stück haben wir gesehen, die Dunkelziffer ist unbekannt. An Schlaf war nicht zu denken... am nächsten Morgen sind wir um 5 Uhr (sobald es heller wurde) abgereist. Wir sind maßlos enttäuscht. Für fas 60 Euro die Nacht haben wir mehr erwartet. Endlose Spinnenweben und Gestank haben nichts mit Urlaub zu tun. Ich komme vom Land und kenne viele Hütten, keine war so ungepflegt und verwahrlost wie diese. Das hat nichts mit Naturliebhaber oder nicht zu tun... wenn man Geld bezahlt will man nicht in Spinnenweben hausen. Man will nicht nach uraltem, modrigen Keller reichen im Urlaub. Schade, denn die Eigentümer waren sehr nett. Die Bilder zeigen absolut NICHT den Ist-Zustand. Eine Frechheit dafür Geld zu verlangen!
