About the host
Hosted by Sierra Welker
Hi! I own several businesses and love to be creative. I'm big into tech and interior design, professional video editor, and I'm an avid gamer (mainly Apex Legends). I enjoy doing things that allow me to express my creativity, and I'm pretty good at voice impersonations.
Why they chose this property
We are on a very quiet street. All paved and no steep hills. Very easy to get to. The cabin sits on 5 private wooded acres in an area with very upscale homes and cabins. The drive in to the property is just as beautiful as the property itself. You can be in downtown Blue Ridge in 10 minutes and there's a very wide variety of shopping and restaurant options. We're very close to the Old Toccoa Farm golf course, wineries, breweries, orchards, ziplining, hiking, waterfalls, lake Blue Ridge. It's the perfect spot for a mountain getaway.
What makes this property unique
A lot of themed properties I've seen use plastic props, cheesy decor, and cheap furniture. I wanted to create a luxury space that felt like a place an actual wizard would live.
Everything in this house was hand-selected and every detail was thoroughly thought about. What you'll find here is genuine, handmade decor, premium bedding, and top-quality furniture.
Additionally, I designed a real moving portrait that's motion activated and does 45 unique animations. His name is Nizer and he lives in the living room above the entry table. This is one of the best surprises to show you friends/family.
There's also an animatronic sorting hat. Walk in the door, put on the sorting hat, and it will assign you to your bedroom. Each room is themed after one of the great four wizarding houses.
And finally, the basement/game room area has a hidden door. On the other side of the door you'll find a secret tavern called "The Wand & Lantern." It has stone walls, a kitchenette, a game table (perfect for DnD, poker, tabletop games), a 50" TV, and a pair of high-back wing chairs imported from England.
And on top of all that, you're still getting a cabin in the woods with the ammenities you expect like a hot tub, two-player arcade, karaoke setup, and a giant 85" TV for family movie nights.
All surrounded on 5 beautiful, private, wooded acres!
