You will fall in love with this storybook cottage with a Boho vibe, built in 2023! Woodland Haven is nestled in the woods, awaiting to accommodate and give opportunity of peaceful rest and relaxation to restore or energize anyone! The beauty of the surrounding landscape offers a view of an open field that displays wildlife such as deer at sunrise/sunset! This is our family's countryside getaway that we use as a home away from home. We hope you enjoy your stay at our property as much as we do!

The property sits on an acre and a half of land. This storybook cottage has a modern boho vibe that doesn't lack on any character or charm. From when you drive out to the property, your first hand experience is of the peacefulness of the less traveled highway to the country: the lush green fields, to the abundance of trees, wildlife you may see in passing, and open skies leaving the hustle & bustle of town.

This home offers an open concept main floor, floor plan where everyone can be together either while someone is cooking, eating, reading in a cozy nook, or watching tv. We have tried to provide our guests with all the amenities they may need during their stay. If there is something we missed please let us know & we will try to get it added!

There is a 20x20 parking pad that you may park on. That allows you to step right onto the concrete porch, or you may use the gravel circle drive and front sidewalk. We provide internet through Total HighSpeed. Our home provides you with the opportunity to unplug and unwind. Our living room has a vaulted 15ft ceiling with exposed beams, a gas fireplace, a tv above the mantel, a DVD player, and an ample amount of DVD's to entertain you as a couple or with family friendly videos! If that doesn't suit you, we have board games for young & old alike: puzzles & some toys from baby to older! A great place to get away and make lifelong memories with family and friends!

Note this home is NOT to be used for gatherings, but only used for the total guests listed as staying at the property, sleeps 8 guests. This is due to restrictions for short term rentals. Violation of this rule will be immediate justification for cancellation with no refund.

For the firepit, we will provide firewood.

Roku Tvs are provided: sign into your own Netflix, Disney, Hulu, etc account and make sure to sign out before leaving.

The gas fireplace is turned on with a timer that is located on the left side of the fireplace.

The stackable washer and dryer tower uses only HE detergent that is poured into the middle opening and you press the power button on for either wash or dry and have to select all your settings and press and hold the play (triangle) button to start.

Our doors are hollow in our cottage, due to cozier tight spots we had to use hinge stoppers on the hinges of some doors, so I please ask you not to slam or push doors open really hard as the hinge stoppers can make a hole in the door.

Schlage door key pad: Don't ever press the "white schlage button" on the inside of this lock! This will inact the PRIVACY MODE and not allow you to use your code to enter.

During deer hunting season in Nov., you may hear (while outside) gun shots since we are out in a Rural /country area.

We do have a small array of kid toys, books, puzzles, games, and child dishware. However, we do not have a gate for the stairs or childproof cabinet locks.

Close to an exciting entertainment mecca of Branson, MO (about 58 miles south on Hwy 65). They offer all types of musical entertainment and is the home to Silver Dollar City - one of the top-rated amusement parks in the country.
