This is a small studio apt in West New York, NJ (west side of the Hudson River). Nonetheless, the two of us never felt cramped or crowded. The listing indicates 20-min from NYC which is true if you're driving a car during off peak times. The subway does not cross the river, so plan on a bus or car ride (ten min walk to the bus stop, then 25-55 min bus ride depending on the time of day). There are lots of places to eat nearby, mostly Latin restaurants. The lock on the door is unusually finicky, and we wondered one night if we'd be able to get in or sleep out in the hallway. Communication with our host was inconsistent - sometimes a prompt response, sometimes no response. The property is clean and quite new; no noisy neighbors 😊 The flat is furnished with basic utensils, flatware, etc if you want to buy food at nearby markets and eat in - microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator and toaster oven are available for your convenience.
