The space:
2 Cozy Bedrooms
Full Bathroom
Fully Stocked Kitchen — cookware, utensils, spices, coffee/tea setup & more
Stunning Winter Scenery right outside your windows
Warm & comfortable living space
Enter through the spacious covered deck that wraps around two sides of the home. Inside, the entry provides plenty of room for coats, boots, and outdoor gear.
The entry opens into a vaulted living and dining area with a table for six, a TV, and entertainment options for relaxing after a day of exploring. A loveseat pulls out into a full-size bed (great for kids, though a bit short for most adults).
Just around the corner is the fully equipped kitchen, stocked with everything you need for cooking. We love to cook ourselves and want you to have the tools you need—if something is missing, please let me know and I’ll happily pick it up.
A short hallway leads to the first-floor bathroom with a full-size shower and a combo washer-dryer that works well for small laundry loads.
Upstairs you’ll find two bedrooms of equal size, each with a comfortable queen bed. Both bedrooms feature a special window positioned so you can check the sky for northern lights without even stepping outside.
During the summer months, the porch becomes a wonderful place to relax with a dining table, comfortable seating, and peaceful views of the surrounding woods. Behind the home you’ll find several acres of public land with quiet trails perfect for a short walk or evening stroll under Alaska’s long summer daylight.
Whether you spend your days hiking, fishing, sightseeing, or simply enjoying the fresh Alaska air, this cozy home offers a comfortable place to unwind at the end of the day.
Come experience the beauty of Alaska with all the comforts of home.
Guest access
Guests have full, private access to the entire two-bedroom, one-bathroom house, including a covered porch — the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. You'll also have dedicated parking for up to three vehicles and an exterior outlet to plug in one vehicle during your stay in the winter. Carport is not available this winter. You will need an All Wheel Drive or Four Wheel Drive vehicle to access the property in the winter.
While there is another full-time residence on the property, only a small portion of the driveway is shared. We kindly ask that you be respectful when coming and going to ensure a peaceful experience for everyone.
Other things to note:
You may spot local wildlife during your stay — moose are sometimes seen wandering through the property. If you’re lucky enough to see one, please enjoy the experience from a safe distance and give them plenty of space. They’ll typically move along on their own.

About the host
Hosted by Ginger
We’re local hosts and always available if anything comes up during your stay. I like to message if there is wildlife around so you don't miss them or let you know about fun events my family or I really enjoy.
I'm an active person who enjoys camping, hiking, reading, quilting, real estate, and hanging out with my family. My favorite time of day is the morning and listening to nature while enjoying a cup of hot coffee or tea. I love the quiet of the country but greatly appreciate the convenience of town.

Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood because it offers the best of both worlds — the peaceful feeling of being out in the Alaskan countryside while still being conveniently located about 10 minutes from town. The home sits at the end of the street, which makes it especially quiet and private with very little traffic. It’s a great place to relax, enjoy the surrounding nature, and still have easy access to everything Fairbanks has to offer.
What makes this property unique
What makes this property special is the peaceful setting combined with thoughtful design for a comfortable stay. The home sits at the end of a quiet street, offering extra privacy and beautiful views of the surrounding forest. Upstairs bedroom windows are positioned so guests can check the sky for the northern lights without even stepping outside during aurora season. With cozy indoor spaces and a large covered porch for relaxing outdoors, it’s a wonderful place to unwind while experiencing the beauty of Alaska.
