Other things to note
Bringing a Dog (No Cats- due to allergies!)
Well-behaved dogs are welcome with prior approval- please make sure to send in the size of your dog and experience with being in an apartment setting. Without the agreement, your reservation may be forfeited!

Once approved, I will provide the appropriate size bed, bowls and towels to ensure your stay is great! The neighborhood is close to walking trails, both urban, parks and river walks as well as a large fenced in back yard.

Baby, Child, Children, Teens as Guests
Welcome to all!
• If you're traveling with a baby, let me know in advance — I can provide a pack and play fully outfitted with mattress and sheets, shelf for baby supplies, and a diaper genie. However, these are limited, so be sure to reserve yours right away!
• For others, let me know the age of your child/ren so I can tailor the setup, and let you choose the best option!

Extra Guest on Sofa/Twin floor mattress
Each unit offers a sofa converting into a small (shorter) full size bed, please let me know if you need the set up for this, and if you would prefer it to be ready upon your arrival. This unit has available two twin 6 inch memory foam floor mats, which need to be requested to ensure availability.

If your reservation includes anything outside the usual two-person stay—such as an additional guest, a pet, or unique sleeping arrangements—I will reach out to learn more. This helps me prepare the space perfectly for you, whether that means setting up one or more pack-n-plays or sofa fold-out or floor mattress!

When booking, please let me know details such as:
• “Two guests, but we prefer separate beds.”
• “Two adults, with our grown child staying one night.”
• “Three guests” (my partner, our grown child who is 6' tall, or Grampa who is 5' tall, and needs extra cushioning if possible!)

The more I know, the better I can prepare the home to meet your needs.

About the host

Host profile image
Hi, and welcome to my spaces! While I am a transplant to Minnesota, at 26 I found a condemned four-plex, the Wheeler Street Victorian, fell in love, and stayed after fixing it up. While my journey has had twists and turns, the short version is after teaching for 17 years in Early Childhood Education, I now spend my days working as a State Analyst, allowing me opportunity for creative adventures in my downtime!

I inherited a love for antiquing (Gran/Gramps) and repurposing/reuse (Mum/Pop). These skills combined have given me a flair for design, which I hope you will enjoy the mix of styles you will find- they are perfectly imperfect- much like myself, but full of character, and I hope you will step out of the perfectly styled, into a home! Lynda

Why they chose this property

Thirty plus years ago, I felt joy and magic when I first visited this building. The neighborhood has shifted over the course of the three + decades, but the sense of belonging has not.
The central location of my space is a huge draw, as close to sporting arenas, the State fair, just off light rail, close to all freeway entries, and truly walkable as I am just home now from an afternoon jaunt by local stores.

What makes this property unique

Many spaces you stay at feel staged- this feels like home in the best way possible. I hope you become part of the Wheeler Street Victorian Story.
