Need 4x4 to get up driveway!!No cleaning products, Great location, close to downtown gatlinburg and pigeon forge. Community club house and pool were nice.
The house is comfy & quiet. The hot tub was great! MUST empty you car of all food, snacks, etc & lock the doors. Bears visited us everyday more than once! You are in an area where bears live, you just need to be careful!
We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin in Gatlinburg! The cabin was beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature — exactly what we were hoping for. One of the biggest highlights was having a bear come right up to the cabin! Definitely an unforgettable Smoky Mountains experience. We also really enjoyed having access to the pool and tennis courts, which were only about a 5-minute drive from the cabin. It was nice having those extra amenities so close by while still being able to come back to the quiet and privacy of the cabin.
This was a great location to stay at. It was very convenient having the clubhouse being less than 5 minutes from the house. The drive up was moderate. And the driveway is in fact very steep. I would bring a good skillet/ pot/ or pan, if you plan to cook at all, because of the limited availability on site. I would 100% stay here again because the value is very good for what you get.
Thank you so much for a beautiful cabin for our vacation! Everything was perfectly clean and just as described. We will definitely be back and hope to rent again!
Ursa Manor was a beautiful cabin tucked away in the privacy of the Smokies! We had a work convention this weekend and it was so nice to get out from behind the desk and enjoy the peaceful views and unwind. The property description was accurate. The home was clean and well stocked. We were able to use Walmart delivery which was a plus to be able to use the full kitchen! The hot tub was clean and well maintained! The owners did a great job with additional security measures for bears. However, 0 bears were spotted this weekend maybe next time!
So impressed. The kids loved the hot tub and the 3 tvs. A lot of privacy, open and spacious- plenty of room for our family of 4. Ursa Manor is now a memory forever for us, thank you.
Jack and Rachel were very communicative and welcoming. They were helpful in answering our questions in everything we needed. The cabin was clean and cozy.
We had a blast!!! A weekend get away in the cabin as the woody forest of the GSM!! It was a cozy spot for our small family of three. The hot tub, the fireplace, the upstairs loft for our daughter was all a hit!! We would definitely return. It was so nice to have the peaceful natural environment after days filled with activities ‘down the mountain.’

We enjoyed our stay overall, but there were a few areas where improvements could enhance the guest experience. The driveway was somewhat challenging to access, particularly for larger vehicles and ride-share services. On a few occasions, Uber drivers expressed concerns about navigating the entrance, which made transportation arrangements more difficult than expected. We also noticed a significant presence of ants around the hot tub area, which limited our ability to fully enjoy that amenity during our stay. With attention to these details, we believe the property could provide an even better experience for future guests.
Overall was a great stay. We had a few issues throughout the rental duration, but when the owners were contacted, they were very responsive. I often got almost instantaneous responses to questions or issues. The Location of the rental was great. While you're definitely going to be traveling up the mountain quite a bit, it was a nice in-between location from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It is a nice "home base" if you plan on seeing the sites. It is rare to find a sectional couch for a rental like this, but it was nice to have one in this rental. The TV sets were nicely updated in each space. Most of the cookware that we needed was there. We didn't see any utensils for the grill, so we picked up some inexpensive ones from Walmart. The grill is also a charcoal park-style grill. I enjoyed cooking this way, but I also know that's not for everyone.Note: like many have said, the driveway is VERY STEEP. I have a 4-wheel drive SUV and it took a bit extra effort. We had a delivery person one day struggle to get up the driveway in their sedan. We met them down the hill. The beds were comfortable and the shower worked well. There was slow drainage in the one shower which made things slightly challenging, but we let the owners know. This location would definitely work well for smaller groups of 1-4 people. Compared to other locations, this one seems to have a bit more privacy that others I've stayed at. Internet was an A experience. There's also ample storage for clothes.
The cabin was clean and accommodated our family perfectly. The porch was ideal for early morning coffee sipping :)Having the North Chalet close by with the pool and view was a huge bonus. The roads were winding and driveway steep, but very manageable and honestly just added to the mountain experience. We will be back!
