Sandy is a great host. We knew she was right there if we needed her. This home was a great place to stay. It was exactly as we thought it would be. It was very comfortable and inviting. Great location! The neighborhood was quiet in a residential area. We will go back!
The neighborhood was perfect for walking and exploring the area. Very quiet…..just what we were looking for. Sandy and Randy’s location was perfect for exploring Inverness, Crystal River, Dunnellon, Weirsdale, Ocala, and Leesburg since we have family in the area. Plenty of supplies in the house and games to occupy your time….if you have time to do so. Lovely pool and a great view of the waterway running behind the house. Nice big yard and a lot of privacy.
This was our 2nd visit to this home. We hope to have many more. It truly is a home away from home for us. You feel the love & warmth of family the minute you step in the door. Randy & Sandy are wonderful people! You can feel that the home has had many, many wonderful, love filled memories made there.
There are not enough words to describe this beautiful place.
Located near the end of a cul de sac in a quiet wooded neighborhood. I rarely saw or heard any of the neighbors, and felt very private. The owner did a great job thinking of vacation renters typical needs. We were able to get to all the local attractions in forty five minutes or less, and then return for a leisurely swim. Even though the weather didn’t fully cooperate, we saw lots of manatees and swam in ice cold springs.
Absolutely perfect! Extremely clean, we had everything we needed, felt safe and the location was perfect. The furniture and beds were good quality, and comfortable. We spent every morning eating breakfast on the lanai and enjoying the beauty of the backyard. So much place! and the pool was incredible. We sat outside by the pool under a covered porch that had a ceiling fan, nice table and comfortable chairs every day. Another feature we loved was the attached garage for easy in/out access with our rental car. Very convenient to shopping and other activities in area. This was our 2nd time staying here.. we highly recommend.
My family and I picked this place due to the close proximity of other family members nearby and we were not disappointed with the location near restaurants and the Florida Springs. The house has a lovely, older feel, similar to visiting grandmas house for Sunday dinner. It's roomy, quiet and has a great screened in pool area with a breezy/shady spot for relaxing, listening to music and watching the hummingbirds, squirrels and lizards do their Florida thing. We brought some fishing poles for the canal out back, but it was so hot that we decided to leave the fish alone. The kitchen has all the necessities to cook a nice meal. I will definitely stay here again. PS - let me know if you ever want to sell! :)
Property was everything I expected sad that the jacuzzi was broke but do believe it was out of their
I couldn’t have asked for better people or hospitality. Absolutely perfect for what I wanted. I’m already making plans for a return trip if they’ll have me just hopefully I have better weather and a working jacuzzi. Very nice people and provide things like your in a motel.
My stay was wonderful! The perfect getaway spot for some relaxing downtime. The house is well appointed and has everything you could want. The neighborhood is nice and quiet yet close enough to downtown for a quick visit!
Communication was great and all the guidelines for the house were easy to follow.
I am looking forward to returning next year!
We had such a great time staying here. My kids and I had driven down from Ohio and we were exhausted when we got there...the pool was just what we needed! Everything was perfect and so comfortable. It literally felt like we were at grandmas house. Towels and sunscreen laid out for us, kitchen stocked with paper plates, paper towels, coffee, condiments. It was such a relaxing stay. They have thought of everything.
Nice house. Master has a soft bed and other room has 2 hard beds. There are airboats which are noisy. We caught several small fish on the dock. Owners are next door and checked in with us from their yard when we were on the dock which was nice. Though once the man opened the high privacy door and was suddenly a few feet from us which was startling. There are a lot of supplies which was nice and helpful - shampoo/conditioner, soap, sandwich bags, Qtips, salt/pepper, fishing rods, pool floats, cornhole, card games, peanut butter/jelly, some bottles of water, etc. A couple of items that would have made a big difference are a larger microwave and working or at least clean Jacuzzi. The microwave is small. Took forever to cook a potato and broccoli for 3. Plus their microwave steam dish is too large to fit in the small microwave. It would have been great to have a working Jacuzzi since the pool is not heated but I guess it is too expensive for them to fix it. They are clear in the description about not heating pool and Jacuzzi not working. But it was an eye sore of green slime when we arrived. Was really gross when we had to go in it to get a ball that fell in. They have a large table in the kitchen, large table on the porch that connects to the pool, and 2 large tables in the pool area. So plenty of chairs and tables wherever you want to sit. There are plastic chairs on the dock. Living room chairs are very comfortable. Overall our stay was very nice and we recommend this house for anyone looking to stay in the area.
Very comfortable, clean and roomy home. Kitchen contained everything you could want or need to satisfy your cooking desires. The house in general was very well supplied with everything from linens to paper products to cleaning supplies. Though some of the decor is likely original to the house, there are obvious upgrades to kitchen and bath fixtures and appliances. Large bedrooms and living room, comfy family room, awesome screen enclosure. Plenty of space inside and out to relax and enjoy. I had to do a couple of days of work while we were there and the internet access was awesome. There was even a desk for a dedicated workspace! The neighborhood was comfortable as well - very quiet and felt very safe. Plenty of wildlife - sandhill cranes, hawks and other birds, squirrels - came to visit daily. The festive holiday lights on the dock were an especially nice touch. We also enjoyed all of the projected lights in the large oak trees out front. Though we didn't use the pool (too chilly while we were there) we did make use of the outdoor space to enjoy our lunches and evening cocktails in the beautiful Florida fall weather. Overall, the house was very clean and comfortable. Sandra responded quickly to our few questions. I loved the very short list of rules that was posted in the family room :)
We look forward to staying again in the near future. Thank you - Pam & Barry
We enjoyed our time at the house! We we're able to check in early. There was a few necessity groceries already there. House and pool were clean. Definitely would stay there again!
This was our 2nd stay here, we love it. The pool was just what we needed. House is always clean and well stocked kitchen just makes everything perfect. Can't wait to go again.
