Escape the crowds and enjoy sunny skies, sugar-white sand beaches and security at the Gulf Shores Plantation Resort, a beautifully landscaped family destination directly on the Gulf of Mexico in the middle of a 21-mile peninsula.

Relax in our comfortable Non-Smoking 2 bedroom/2 bath condo that sleeps 6 with King bed in the master bedroom and twins in the second bedroom, plus a Queen Sleeper sofa in the living area. The large balcony has a spectacular view overlooking the beach, pools, hot tub, tennis courts, putting green, boardwalk and other resort amenities. Our fourth-floor condo has 43”, 32" and 26" flat screen HDTVs/DVDs in the living room and bedrooms.

Gulf Shores Plantation Resort has 24-hour security and unlimited free wireless Internet access. Our condo amenities include one new heated, salt water indoor pool and six outdoor pools with indoor and outdoor hot tubs, saunas, lighted tennis courts, basketball, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, exercise room, and a putting green with sports equipment available at the security gate. Have a BBQ with the family at the outdoor charcoal grills. Read a book from the honor library or use the coin operated laundry facility, both located on the ground floor of your building.

Kiva Dunes golf course, the number one rated course In Alabama, is adjacent to the resort and there are ten other nearby golf courses.

Gulf Shores was named one of USA Today's “Five Hidden, Affordable Beach Destinations”.
Gulf Shores Plantation Resort was listed as “Where to Stay” with an abundance of local recreational amenities including Alabama's historic Fort Morgan, Tanger Outlet Center, water park, zoo, miniature golf, go-carts, and the Dauphin Island ferry. The Royal Gulf Beach & Racquet Club Resort (Plantation Dunes building) requires the purchase of a $35 registration certificate prior to arrival for each vehicle parked overnight during your stay. Good location

The location was great and provided great views of the beach. We were able to walk on the beach every morning and spend time in the room when it got too hot. The beds were the most comfortable beds! The bathroom near the twin bed room had a loud noise anytime we would flush and it was hard to lock the balcony doors. The neighbors on the wall behind the master bed kept closing doors and it was very loud. Im not sure if the kitchen is right there but thats what it sounded like. But overall it was a good property for us to stay during the baseball tournment.

Perfect location

In town for my daughters basketball tournament at the high school and wanted to stay away from the tourist area of Gulf Shores for some relaxation and this place was perfect, short drive to/from town, watched games in the morning then spent the rest of the day at the beach or pool. Beaches were not crowded and my kids had a blast, we cooked food in our room every night for supper. Perfect place to stay if you are wanting to have a relaxing beach trip with less crowds

2nd stay

This was our 2nd stay in this condo. The condo is furnished well. There is plenty for everyone to do with all of the pools and the beautiful beach. The owners are great and quick to respond via email, text or phone. We had another great trip and are already planning our vacation next summer!

Tennis trip

I played in a state tennis tournament, and we decided to make a family trip out of it. This condo was perfect for our family of 4. The kids loved all the different swimming options. The condo itself was very clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we could need. I loved the layout with common space in the middle and a bedroom/ bathroom on each side. We got good food to-go from the 'Sassy Bass' restaurant that was right there on the property, and the view of the sunsets from the boardwalk was breathtaking. Would definitely stay again!

Relaxing no stress vacation

My husband and I found just what we were looking for in this property. The monthly price was fair. It was quiet. The grounds and public areas were well cared for. The beach access was really wonderful. The view from the deck was perfect! It was cold while we were there, but it didn't matter. We could sit on the deck and the sun warmed it up nicely.

Lovely little get away!

My family of five stayed at this property for a few days right after New Years (one teen on the couch). Arrival and check-in was easy, and the owners even accommodated our request for an early check-in, which was an appreciated bonus. Everything is just as pictured and described, including the beautiful view from the balcony. We used the pickleball courts, indoor pool, multiple hot tubs indoors and out, and fitness room, and everything was clean and in good order everywhere. There is a Walmart about 20 minutes away (we stopped on our way to the property, as you have to pass right by it anyway), and there is a Dollar General pretty much right outside the gate where we grabbed a couple of things we forgot. The only thing we thought could be better, and it's a small thing, is that there are no overhead lights in the bedrooms, just lamps, and it wasn't very bright, especially in the room with the two twin beds and one lamp.

Excellent location and condo!

We had a wonderful stay Plantation Dunes 5408. The listing is exact. Two bedrooms with fully stocked kitchen, & a queen sofa with extra linens. The laundry room on the ground floor was convenient and took cards, but pay for extra time as 60 minutes did not dry our towels. The hot tub is in the main building on the ground floor. Heated pool is in another building. We were confused about this. The pool is lit up neato colors at a night and a nice treat to watch from the balcony which is very spacious. Overall, very nice stay and excellent hosts! Would definitely book again!
