Delightful 2-bedroom house in Long Beach perfect for your getaway

The guest checked in shortly after 4:00 PM but did not contact our property management team until 9:35 PM to express dissatisfaction with the property’s location. Our team responded promptly and explained that the listing accurately reflects the home’s setting. Photos clearly show the property located near the road, including views from the hot tub with the road visible behind it. In addition, the exact location is provided on the VRBO map, and our welcome message reiterates that the home is situated on the corner of Pacific & 24th St. Although these details were disclosed in advance, the guest remained dissatisfied. As a courtesy, our management team offered the option to check out the following day with no penalties or charges. The guest responded that they would “discuss it and let us know,” but no further communication was received, and they chose to continue their stay. Following check-out, our housekeeping team found cigarette butts left on the front porch, back porch, and in the fire pit, along with a noticeable smoke odor inside the home. As stated in our listing, smoking is to be done in designated area outside the property. Due to this experience, we have noted in our records that we will not rent to this guest in the future.

Unfortunately, the hot tub experienced a leak due to a faulty barbed fitting, and because of our remote location on the peninsula, it took a few days to receive the replacement part. Joshua and his guest were very understanding and made the best of the situation, which we truly appreciate. Our property management team provided a partial refund for the inconvenience. We’re happy to report that the hot tub is now fully repaired and back in working order.
