Cozy cabin with a large deck overlooking Shagwa lake, steps away. This cabin is the perfect retreat all year, close to miles of trails and outdoor activities. Property includes use of paddle boards, canoe, fat bikes, snow shoes, sleds. Remote friendly with wifi and designated work space, or reserve the librarys new contemporary work pods across Hiawatha lake, less than one mile away. Guest fishing passes for private lakes are available for an additional cost May-October. Fishing and boating are also available at state parks within a few miles with state pass. Utilities included with monthly rental - includes one 1200 gallon septic vault empty per month, additional fee if over 1200 gal of water used. There is an outlet near the driveway for BYO EV charger, or there are 2 charging stations at the library (currently free of charge). This property has a steep staircase to access the upstairs bedrooms that may not be appropriate for small children or people at risk of falling. Main level has a bedroom and bathroom that do not require use of stairs.

We live a couple of hours away and bought this cabin for family weekends. We are excited it to share it with others who will appreciate the location, local community and outdoor activities.
Why they chose this property
We love the views of the lake from the deck, fishing, paddleboarding, hiking and biking are steps away and the walkablility to to main village shops, library and tavern.
What makes this property unique
Our property has it's own well and water filtration system, which is not common in the area. We have a large deck which is wonderful to spend time on in the summer.
