Probably the best appointed place we’ve stayed in a while. Many amenities, great views, and over all a great house. My only concern, we are firm mattress folks and these were rather soft. That’s just a preference thing. Overall a great place to stay. We will definitely consider a return visit.

The coziest mountain rental

We LOVED the blue canoe! So cozy and the decor made the whole place absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed and more! The hot tub was so relaxing, the fireplace helped give all the relaxing feels we were looking for. We made so many memories. We will definitely be returning to this perfect getaway!

My family and I had wonderful time at Blue Canoe! The house is wonderfully taken care of and has a beautiful view of the lake. My boys loved the fact they could walk right outside the door and go fishing, paddle boarding or kayaking! We are already planning out next trip!

Great weekend getaway

Lovely house with everything you could need or want for a relaxing lakeside getaway! Had a little hiccup getting through the community gatehouse but the property manager was extremely responsive and we were through in no time. The house itself is beautifully renovated and we enjoyed sitting sitting out on the back deck, paddling around the lake, and watching the deer go by. The downstairs TV/game room was great to have on the day it rained. It was just a short drive into town so it was a nice way to feel removed from everything but still have restaurants, shops, etc. all nearby. Would stay again!

Great location, quiet and private. Scenic views and lake front access. Very clean and all accommodations were as stated. Great communication with owners. Lovely weekend by the water

I was really appreciative to be able to stay in this home and to the folks I spoke with who helped answer all my annoying questions. The house was very nice and very clean. Comfortable beds and we had all we needed. It was very cool being able to grill overlooking the water. We definitely will keep that memory. I wish there was a tv in the main living room but that is just me, I am sure most families won't need it. Hope to stay here again.

Thanksgiving Weekend with Family!

The Blue Canoe was a lovely home. The space fit our family well and the location was great. We loved the fire pit, hot tub, and the basement was very comfortable. I especially l loved the master bedroom upstairs. We all agreed that your beds were SUPER comfortable. Our only real complaint was the process for entering the complex. We were redirected to a second entrance then had to wait in a long line of cars to get our parking pass to use for our stay. Our adult children had to wait in line at the guard shack guest line for 25 minutes to get their passes. Then everytime you leave and have to come back to the house, you have to wait in this guest line at the shack to gain re-entry even though you have a pass. The line was often 10+ cars deep. The process is not smooth, that's for sure. But once you get to the house, it's cozy and accomodating. Thanks!

We are three sisters and our spouses who came together to build a dream lake house for our families — and now we’re honored to share it with yours. What started as a vision around the dinner table turned into a labor of love. We personally remodeled the home ourselves, pouring countless hours into every detail to create a space that feels welcoming, comfortable, and special.

Family means everything to us. As parents and grandparents, we understand how important it is to have a place where memories are made — whether that’s morning coffee overlooking the lake, evenings in the hot tub, or laughter around the game table.

This isn’t a corporate rental — it’s a home that was built with intention and heart. We truly hope you feel that when you walk through the door and that you love the lake house as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We chose this neighborhood very intentionally. Our brother also has a lake home nearby called Lady of the Lake, and being close to family was important to us. We wanted to create a place where our extended family could gather, celebrate, and build traditions together.

The community itself is safe, peaceful, and welcoming — which gives us peace of mind as both owners and hosts. Most importantly, we loved the easy access to the lake. Being able to enjoy the water, nature, and all the beauty that comes with lake living was at the top of our list when choosing this location.

What makes this property unique

Blue Canoe was designed to feel different from the moment you walk in. One of the most distinctive features is our incredible spa room — complete with heated benches and a massive walk-in shower that feels more like a private retreat than a bathroom. It’s a space to unwind, reconnect, and truly relax.

We also built a large, handmade family-style dining area because we believe some of the best memories are made around the table. Whether it’s birthday dinners, holiday gatherings, or late-night board games, this space was intentionally created for connection.

Step outside and you’ll find a fantastic deck with beautiful lake views — the perfect place for morning coffee, sunset conversations, or simply soaking in the peaceful surroundings.
