Welcome to your own personal family cottage!
Attending a wedding, family reunion, family getaway, or golf trip at Skytop? Need a close place near Camelback, Kalahari, or Great Wolf Lodge? Our family cottage is the perfect place for you! Guests can experience some of the amenities of Skytop Lodge (please inquire) and the local Pocono attractions while relaxing with the whole family in this peaceful cottage. 3+ bedrooms, 2 full baths, den, dining room, fireplace, and an attic hideaway for the kids to escape. Sip a cup of coffee in our fireplace room while overlooking the beautiful wildflower meadow. Wildlife stroll by the cottage every day. Want to golf, rock climb, clay shooting, bike, visit a wonderful restaurant, or relax? Skytop is a mere 100 yards away! It's the perfect playground for both kids and adults to enjoy! * Guests do not have access to pool or swimming lake. We are not a property that is a part of Skytop Lodge.

*Custom patio, walkway, and firepit in the back yard

*Living space can be closed off from the bedroom wing with the large sliding barn door. 3rd AC unit in one living room

*NO parties allowed and NO outside guests allowed.

*The cottage had 2 outdoor cameras for security (1 facing the driveway & 1 facing the backyard). We also have a doorbell camera.

*Holiday weeks/weekends are a 3-7 day booking (depending on holiday) - always inquire!

Perfect location for a wedding at SkyTop. Very close able to go back and forth from house to venue no problem. Had 3 children with me and it was perfect house for them with the bedroom with 2 beds and the family room to be ableto play in.

Perfect girls’ trip

Wonderful Stay!!

We stayed at this property for 4 days and it was a 10/10 experience. Walking distance to the lodge! Directly across the street from the Wildflower field. Very quiet surroundings. Clean home with perfect accommodations for a family trip. Highly recommend!

A great family vacation!

We had a fantastic time at this house. We were two families with a total of three young kids staying here for 5 nights and had other family members staying at Skytop Lodge. It was a perfect gathering place and a very easy walk to the Lodge. We particularly appreciated the excellent layout, the well stocked kitchen, and the kid-friendly touches. We would happily return!

Another wonderful stay

This is the second time we have stayed with Devin, and it was another excellent experience. The house is comfortable and beautifully furnished and equipped. The kitchen has high-quality appliances and implements. Nothing is lacking. Best of all, the house is the one closest to Skytop Lodge, with all of its great activities. This is a highly-recommended property.

Perfect Spot!

We attended a family wedding at the Skytop and 7 family members (6 adults, 1 child), stayed at the Cozy Family Cottage. It was perfect! Had everything we needed (towels, linens, kitchen items, multiple sitting areas, maps of the area, recommendations, wifi, etc.). It was right across the "street" from the Skytop with just a short walk (under 2 minutes) to get to the main lodge. We went hiking, walked the lake, and played pickleball during some downtime. The spot is an ideal location and we would definitely go back. Highly recommend!

A slice of heaven!

The most well appointed kitchen I’ve ever stayed in possibly including my own! Was so nice to cook family meals every night. Such a charming house with lots of room to spread out. Found a couple of the AC units to be a little finicky & the amenities situation seems to be in flux with the homeowners’ guest policy. But we were able to do the things we wanted to do and especially enjoyed bingo and the magician at the lodge. We would love to come back to this magical place again.

Perfect relaxation in beautiful house on Skytop Lodge property

We spent a delightful 8 nights in this lovely house that is a very short walk from Skytop Lodge. The beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed complete peace and quiet, while being able to take advantage of all the guest privileges at Skytop. We particularly enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and my children enjoyed skating. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped -- probably the best of any VRBO rental we have experienced. The washer and dryer is a great convenience. We also took advantage of the large TV to watch movies together. I highly recommend this property.

Another wonderful stay

We have had two great stays at this house in winter, and this was the first time I visited in summer. The house was just as comfortable and convenient as in winter, with the addition of a beautiful view of a wildflower meadow right across the road, and the chance to enjoy the great outdoor pool at the Lodge as well as the all-year indoor pool and hot tub. The house was as well-equipped as always, and the air-conditioning made it comfortable even on warmer day. Communications with Devin, as always, were a delight. We are already planning our next return!

Beautiful Cottage steps away from Skytop Lodge

My family of 5 stayed this past weekend for a Saturday day wedding at Skytop Lodge. The house was steps away (2 min walk with young kids) from the lodge which was very convenient but the cottage itself was roomy with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, was very clean, and had plenty of cozy rooms to relax and talk, play games with our young kids and escape electronics. My wife and I enjoyed sitting by the fireplace and talking late night while our girls were asleep. It is such a cute cottage and was everything as described on the site. We are so glad we chose to rent the house. We wish the weather was better so we could have enjoyed the nice backyard and take in the beautiful surroundings. Would definitely stay again!

Awesome Skytop cottage

My family and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend at this spacious, yet cozy cottage adjoining the Skytop Lodge property. The house was charming and immaculate with thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen was well appointed with high end appliances, tools, pots/pans and dishes/utensils. Beds were comfortable with spotless, high quality linens. A big dining room table and comfortable family room with big-screen tv provided perfect spots for the family to gather. The two full bathrooms were nicely renovated. Badges for Skytop amenities were an added bonus. Owner Devon was an excellent communicator who always quickly responded. An A plus property that we can't wait to visit again!

Perfect location, perfect cottage, perfect hosts!

We can't say enough about how wonderful our weekend was at Cottage 44 at skytop. We had never been to skytop before and we LOVED it -- so many activities for the whole family. We walked over to the skating rink more than once and took the 3 minute drive to the adventure center multiple times for skiing and tubing. The cottage itself is a dream. Impeccably decorated, yet cozy and homey, perfect for myself and my husband, plus my parents, my 21 year old step daughter, and my 6 and 3 year olds. The layout is wonderful, the beds are comfy, the fireplace is so lovely after being out playing in the snow...so many wonderful touches in the house and it had all of the necessities for our stay and more. The hosts were extremely responsive for a few small things that arose during our stay. We will most DEFINITELY be back!! This was by far the best rental experience we have ever had. Everyone had so much fun!! Thanks so much to our lovely hosts!!

Hi! My name is Devin and I have been going to Skytop Lodge since I was a little girl. Every summer, my grandmother, grandfather and I would spend countless hours using the pool, hiking, golfing, and enjoying afternoon tea at the lodge. Fast forward to 2015; Skytop became the venue for my wedding! I have always felt like Skytop was my home away from home. So in 2021, my husband and I purchased this property in hopes others would get the same feeling I did all those years ago. Our children love roaming the property, seeing wildlife from our front porch, boating on the lake, and so much more. I've always called Skytop "a playground for both adults and kids".

Why they chose this property

Our cottage is literally on the 5th hole! It's just a few steps from the main entrance to the lodge. Every morning at 10 am, you hear the tractor tour puttering by on their morning estate tour. The driver waves to us every time. You can experience tons of wildlife from our front porch, across the street at the wildflower meadow, or on the many trails. Should you want, you can venture over to Skytop Lodge and experience some of what they have to offer. There are plenty of food options at the Lodge or the Inn. This house is perfect for families, couples, wedding groups, and more!

What makes this property unique

We are SO close the Lodge! And what can be better than an updated cottage? New barn door, fire place, fun space for the kids in the attic, and a traditional/modern feel.
