Common area amenities include a swimming pool (April to October) and hot tub; tennis, basketball, volleyball, pickleball and bocce ball courts and a golf driving cage. Located a few minutes from Moss Landing, Monterey Dunes is 18 miles north of Monterey and nine miles south of Watsonville.  Enjoy 3 bedrooms and 2 baths in a single floor layout that maximizes oceanfront views—from serene mornings to stunning sunsets. Take a walk on the beach to be in nature: otters, seals, dolphins, pelicans, sandpipers, and plovers are right at your doorstep. Sip a glass of Monterey County wine, beachcomb for sea shells, tuck in with a book, sleep so soundly that you wake up late—and have the kind of conversations with friends and family that come with slowing down our hectic lives enough to enjoy it. Monterey Dunes is a beautiful property. It’s appealing from the minute you approach the front door. It has a great layout, all the furniture is comfortable, linens are nice, kitchen is fully stocked and the views are outstanding. Loved our stay! Thank you!

The beach is about 1 minute walk from the back deck. The views are perfect for the sunsets. There were a couple maintenance issues-slow drain in bath tub, kitchen faucet hard to turn. The screen door always sticks. Lots of tiny bugs get in because screen door isnt proper fit. Other then that its a good location and good sized rooms. We enjoyed our stay.
