Enjoy outstanding Monterey Bay views from your home-away-from-home and walk across the street to walk along the scenic recreation trail for miles in either direction. Located near Lover's Point Beach and walkable to downtown Pacific Grove attractions. The PG golf links are just a short drive away and there are many other golf options around the area from which to choose, including at golfer's 'mecca', Pebble Beach®.
The smells and sounds of the sea will lull you to sleep each night in this 1,122 sf beach house duplex unit. Clad in cedar shake siding, this true seafarer's home has so much character inside and out. It is filled with nautical elements, a rustic wood interior, and whimsical seafaring decorations. The quintessential "Old Salty" sea captain's house!
Climb 7 steps to the ocean view porch and take in the sights of the bay before entering into the living area with a wood burning fireplace and WiFi-enabled TV with streaming options (guests should bring the logins to their own streaming subscriptions).
The well-equipped kitchen is nicely set up to facilitate cooking meals to share together when you stay in, and when you want to go out, breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner options are plenty in Pacific Grove or nearby coastal towns of Carmel-by-the-Sea, Carmel Valley and Monterey.
Bedrooms and Bathroom Bedroom #1 has a queen bed and a TV. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed and a TV. An additional sleeping option is in the living room where the sofa folds out into a queen bed which may sleep 1-2 children. The bathroom has a shower-over-tub combination.
A washer and dryer are on hand for guest use.
There's a garage available with space for one small car plus driveway parking in front of the garage for one more car. Un-timed street parking is generally available near the home on a first come, first served basis.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.
Please note that this is one side of a duplex building.

Location was fantastic..just a few steps from the beautiful rocky shoreline with its walking path…and sand was nearby. We enjoyed having the garage. House was VERY well supplied and clean. We enjoyed the wine and cheese/ crackers to greet us and sitting on the front porch bench in the late afternoon. Only streaming available on the TV which was a bit of a downer for us. Would love to return! Easy drive into downtown Pacific Grove and a short drive to Trader Joe’s as well as a quick trip to the aquarium.

Absolutely fantastic. My husband worked at the desk overlooking the crashing waves while my dog and I strolled the cliff side paths. Walking distance to downtown, beaches, and tide pools.Plenty of pelicans and otters!

Incredible location and cute home! The pictures don’t do the home justice- the home is well kept, cute, warm, and very interesting. Parking was a bit of a concern-we drive a ford f150 truck, which is too large for the garage, and too large to park along the back street in front of the garage. Luckily, there was more than enough public parking along the front street. The neighborhood is low crime so we were not worried about the truck, and we could easily see it outside the front window. We enjoyed burning a fire in the fireplace, and watched otters, pelicans, and fishing ships, from the spotting scope we brought, out the front window. The rooms were comfortable with good storage. The appliances were nice, with ample cookware to make dinner. It was very quiet at night so we all got good sleep. 100%, we would return.

We are a group of three, a mom and two teenage daughters. The place was quirky and had everything we needed. The steps to the beach were a hit with my girls and the ease of parking in the back garage was great. But be aware it will only handle small cars, otherwise you need to park along the street. The place is a duplex, but we had no issues with our neighbors. This is a great place to stay if you like walking along the coast, have easy access to the aquarium, Big Sur, and Carmel.

Our adult family loved our stay. It has a perfect location,and was very comfortable with everything we needed. We loved the big picture window with a full view of Monterey Bay. We even saw Otters flocking around without our binoculars. We were only there for 2 1/2 days but it felt like a week long relaxing getaway because we were so comfortable close to everything. Everything was very clean and SVR was so helpful. We also loved all the antique nautical decor, and guessing what it all was used for. Thank you!!!
