. <br><br>The living area, which is approximately 50 square metres (total house size: 140 square metres), is so beautiful that you’ll want to spend your entire holiday indoors: oak floors, old wooden beams, a cosy sitting area, a very well-equipped kitchen, a spacious dining area with a view of the garden, and a wood-burning stove. A large glass door leads out to our spacious, natural garden, which you’ll have all to yourself. The ground floor is wheelchair-accessible and features, in addition to the large living and kitchen area, one bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. In the attic, there are two additional bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with a shower.<br>Access to the house and the garden can be made wheelchair-accessible upon request.<br>The house can accommodate up to four adults and two children.<br>Children under six stay free of charge. Therefore, please do not include them in the total number of guests when booking.<br><br>The Baltic Sea is a 30-minute drive away.<br><br>The Accommodation<br>The house has a floor area of 80 square metres. The upper floor (approx. 80 square metres) has sloped ceilings and is accessible via a staircase. All rooms have gas heating and a view of the greenery.<br>The kitchen is very well equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils.<br><br>Access to the house and the garden, as well as the entire ground floor, is barrier-free. The bathroom features a floor-level shower. The toilet is easily accessible by wheelchair. The sink is wheelchair-accessible. The double bed on the ground floor is approximately 45 cm high. All doors are 95 cm wide. Access to the garden is via the patio and a ramp (approx. 10% grade).<br><br>The house has high-speed internet. Wi-Fi.<br>TV with public broadcasters. Amazon Prime.<br><br>Since March 2022, up to four people can enjoy the new, beautiful sauna in the former pigsty. It also includes a “wet area” with a cold/warm shower, a waterfall shower, and a cold-water hose.<br><br><br>Together with a couple who are friends of ours, we bought the house in 2017 and completely gutted, renovated, and expanded it.<br>Since we often use the house ourselves, we’ve taken great care with even the smallest details of the furnishings. <br>Please don’t grumble in disappointment upon arrival. We haven’t managed to renovate the exterior of the house yet. It’s what’s on the inside that counts!<br><br>Additional Important Information<br>The base rate—75 euros per night plus fees—applies to two adults. Children up to 6 years old stay free of charge.<br>Each additional person over the age of six pays 15 euros per night.<br>Maximum occupancy is 6 people, or 4 adults.<br>For use of the sauna, we charge a contribution towards expenses (electricity, water) of<br>3 euros per hour. <br><br>HEATING COSTS<br>During the heating season, heating costs are billed based on gas consumption. Based on experience, this amounts to 5 to 6 euros per day.<br><br>Schmatzin, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania <br>The house is located on the village street in a charming village with 150 residents. It is a street with historic cobblestones that is generally not very busy. Farm vehicles rumble by. There’s some traffic in the morning as people drive to work. It’s quiet both at night and during the day.<br>The house is on the outskirts of the village; it’s a semi-detached home. A family with two children lives next door.<br>Walks and bike rides through woods and fields are very easy to take from the house, for example, to the beautiful Peene River—also known as the “Amazon of the North”—or to a man-made swimming lake. <br>Cranes fly over the village, storks clatter nearby, deer venture right into the garden, and beaver dams are always worth a short hike.<br><br>Out and About Near the Accommodation<br>Aside from a bakery lorry, there are no shopping options in the village. You can do your shopping in Anklam or at Lidl
