Country-style single-family home with a garden of approximately 250 m² offering a magnificent view of the Ilz Valley and a covered terrace

The holiday home (non-smoking) is a single-family home on the outskirts of the holiday village of Vogelthenne. It is a very comfortably furnished 3-room home with 80 m2 of living space, well-suited for two adults and two children. A hallway with a coat rack and shoe rack leads into the living/dining room, which is furnished with solid wood furniture from a local carpenter’s shop, wide-plank flooring, and a wood-burning stove. You can relax comfortably on the (sleeper) sofa or wingback chair while watching TV (satellite reception), listening to the radio or CDs (there are several music CDs and audiobooks available), or playing your own entertainment from an iPod. From this room, you can access the other rooms and the terrace, which stretches along the entire side of the house. A bedroom, also furnished with solid wood furniture (bed, closet, chest of drawers) and a hardwood floor, offers a restful night’s sleep. The two medium-firm mattresses (0.90 m by 2.00 m) are relatively new. The shutters allow you to completely darken the room. The second bedroom was furnished with new solid wood furniture in early 2023: two beds (0.90 m by 2.00 m) and a three-door wardrobe. This room also features hardwood flooring. It is well-suited for children, as it is stocked with plenty of toys, puzzles, children’s and young adult books, and baby gear (cot, high chair, night lights, and outlet covers—as found throughout the house). The new high-gloss kitchen is fully equipped. For cooking, you’ll have access to a stove with a glass-ceramic cooktop, an oven, a range hood, a microwave, and a dishwasher. The refrigerator is equipped with a four-star freezer compartment. You can choose between a filter coffee maker, an Italian espresso maker, a capsule coffee machine, or a tea maker. You’ll also find a kettle, egg cooker, toaster, pressure cooker, and an above-average supply of dishes, silverware, and glasses. A basic supply of sugar, salt, spices, vinegar, oil, dish soap/tablets, and tea towels is provided. The bathroom, which receives natural light, is equipped with a shower, toilet, sink, base cabinet, and mirror cabinet, which contains some personal care products, cleaning supplies, and laundry detergent. The washing machine is located here. The house is heated by electric storage heaters; additional warmth can also be generated by the fireplace, which creates a cosy atmosphere. The storage room holds most of the patio furniture (including a new deck chair), a Weber kettle grill, a clothes rack, an ironing board, and an iron. The outdoor seating areas in the garden cover a total of approximately 250 m², alongside two long, flower-filled slopes. From the property, you have a sweeping view of the Ilz Valley. A covered terrace and plenty of patio furniture for two to three separate seating areas, as well as a patio umbrella, offer opportunities to relax. Since the access road to many of the houses is car-free, the car park is not adjacent to the property but is located about 300 metres away. About halfway along the path, there is a parking bay where you can load and unload. Access to the house is via a staircase, so it is not wheelchair-accessible. A 20% deposit may be charged after booking. Please pay the remaining balance via bank transfer before arrival. Card payments on-site are not accepted. Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM at the latest. Pets are not allowed. The visitor’s tax of 3.00 EUR per person (ages 16 and up) per night, or 1.60 EUR per child (ages 6–15) per night, will be charged separately on-site. Keys will be handed over at the neighbouring house.
