The Space:

The cabin is located behind the main house on the property, offering a peaceful setting with scenic views. From the rear of the cabin, guests can step out onto a patio overlooking the grounds — perfect for enjoying the fresh air and countryside surroundings.

Inside, the cabin features:



• Two bedrooms, each with a queen bed

• 1 full bathroom

• Comfortable living and gathering space



Outdoor features include access to a gazebo and picnic area, ideal for relaxing or enjoying meals outdoors.



Parking:

Guests should drive down the pass near the cabin to the designated parking area. Parking is located in front of the gazebo.



Guest Access:

Guests will enter the property through the front gates. A gate and entry code will be provided 24 hours prior to check-in.

Guests will have private access to the cabin and shuffleboard.

Outdoor entertainment and recreation areas on the property are shared with guests staying at the main house who take priority over outdoor amenities.

Oak Hill Cabin is located just minutes from Lake Cumberland and approximately 5 minutes from downtown Somerset. Guests enjoy a peaceful countryside setting while still being close to local restaurants, shops, and attractions. The cabin sits on the same scenic property as Oak Hill House, offering access to shared outdoor recreation areas while maintaining a quiet, private cabin experience.



Getting Around:

Oak Hill Cabin is located in a peaceful rural area just outside Somerset, KY. There is no regular public transit service near the property, so a car is the easiest and most convenient way to get around. Most guests drive to local attractions, dining, and outdoor recreation — and ample parking is available on site.



If you prefer not to drive during your stay, ride-hail services such as Uber and Lyft do operate in the Somerset area, though availability may vary and wait times can be longer than in larger cities. Taxis and local shuttle services may also be available with advance booking.
