This lovingly furnished holiday apartment (43 square metres) with its own sun terrace (20 square metres) is located in our newly built single-family home (first occupied in February 2020) in Schwarzbach/ Marzoll in a rural residential area in a sunny, quiet location with a magnificent mountain panorama. Schwarzbach is situated between Bad Reichenhall and Salzburg. It is only about four kilometres to both the city centre of Bad Reichenhall and the Austrian border. There are excellent bus and train connections to various excursion destinations and attractions. Right outside the front door is the bus stop for the Bad Reichenhall city bus—Line 1, which stops at the Bad Reichenhall main train station. The bus stop for the bus to nearby Salzburg, the city of Mozart, with its diverse cultural offerings, is only about 200 metres away. Two e-bikes are available for rent for a fee.
The cosy, two-room apartment (43 m²) with a sunny terrace (20 m²) is located in our newly built single-family home (first occupied in February 2020). Living Room: The living room features a new, well-equipped built-in kitchenette. Kitchen Amenities: Stove with oven, coffee maker, electric kettle, blender, egg cooker, toaster, various dishes, glasses, silverware, pots, dish sponge, and kitchen towels, vacuum cleaner; A cosy dining table with four chairs invites you to linger. The sofa can be used as a third sleeping arrangement if needed (sofa bed with slatted frame). The apartment is equipped with a flat-screen cable TV and a CD player with USB, MP3, and radio. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. Bedroom: The bedroom is furnished with a double bed with nightstands, a rustic wardrobe, and a mirror. Bedding is provided. A travel cot and a high chair can be provided upon request. Bathroom: The spacious bathroom feels bright and welcoming thanks to its large window. It is equipped with a shower. A hair dryer, makeup mirror, and clothes rack are provided. Shower and bath towels are provided. Outdoor Area: Parking spaces are located directly in front of the house. A barrier-free path leads from the car park to the entrance of the holiday rental (partially wheelchair-accessible). In front of the front door, a sheltered garden bench invites you to relax. Eight steps (the terrace is not wheelchair-accessible) lead up to the holiday rental’s private sun terrace (20 m²). From here, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the Fuderheuberg and Staufen. Enjoy your dinner against this magnificent backdrop or relax on the two sun loungers.
Schwarzbach is nestled within a well-developed network of bike trails, making it an ideal starting point for bike tours of varying difficulty in both the Berchtesgaden and Salzburg regions. You’re welcome to rent two e-bikes from us for a fee. From your lodging, you can follow the marked hiking trails or take easy walks in the immediate vicinity. The Marzoller Au, with the Saalach River, is just about 150 metres away. About 800 metres away is the Marzoll supermarket, where you can do your daily shopping. About 300 metres away, you’ll find both the Marzoll tennis courts and the newly renovated “Mein Bachei” alpine swimming pool. In addition to the outdoor pool, there are, of course, several swimming lakes in the immediate vicinity (e.g., Thumsee, Höglwörther See, Abtsee). The well-known Königsee and the Hintersee in the Zauberwald are also only about 30 minutes away by car. For weather-proof swimming fun, visit the Rupertustherme in Bad Reichenhall, the Watzmanntherme in Berchtesgaden, and the Badylon in Freilassing.
