Amazing apartment in Schonach im Schwarzwal

The bright, modern apartment is lovingly and comfortably furnished. In the small kitchen you will find everything you need for cooking. A dishwasher and an oven at eye level as well as a large fridge-freezer combination are available.Through the separate dining room next to the kitchen, a patio door leads to the very large along the house partially covered east-facing, sheltered forest terrace.



The covered balcony adjoins the living room as well as the bedroom and faces south/west. Enjoy here your cozy breakfast or a glass of Baden wine in the evening sun with a magnificent view of the Black Forest. In winter, you have an unobstructed view of the ski jump on the opposite hillside from here. A panoramic window offers a fantastic view of the starry sky from the bedroom in the evening and at night on cloudless days.



The house is located near the Westweg, at the top of the mountain directly by the forest, and is accessible only by a steep road that ends at the forest not far from the house.

From the road below the property, a closed staircase leads up through the rock to the house. The stairs are long and therefore only suitable for guests who can manage about 50 steps with luggage. It is also possible to use the services of the janitor for check-in and check-out as an additional service. Please make a request for this service on the spot.

The staircase leads through an art gallery in which there are changing exhibitions. This makes the apartment even more special, especially for art lovers. Also in the apartment are works of art by the landlady and artist friends.

There is a possibility to relax creatively as well: Canvases, paints and brushes can be provided on request for a fee. Easels are also available. A corresponding need please announce when booking.



In the large modern living room there are two box spring sets, which serve as a living landscape during the day and at night offer space for four people to sleep either individually, or each as a double bed. The cozy bedroom is equipped with a modern large box spring bed and a sofa bed. The room can accommodate 2 adults and one to two children / teenagers.



Schonach is charming and relaxing in every season. In summer, the numerous outdoor pools in the area, especially the Schonach natural swimming pool, offer additional swimming fun. Bikers are also offered the connection to a well-signposted biker route. Schonach is located directly on the Westweg, which is something special for hikers. In winter, the annual world championship in Nordic combined is a special highlight. There is a kilometer-long network of groomed cross-country ski trails on the Rohrhardsberg. There is also a ski lift and the possibility of downhill skiing.
