BLACK MOLD! There was black mold in the handicap bathroom and bed room across the hall. There was a fan going in the bedroom when we got there but you could still smell a musty smell. The room also stayed very hot plus we found HUGE roaches in there. There was left over guts and legs on the walls where previous people smooshed them. The utensils had dried up food on them. Bring your own paper towels and toilet paper, because the listing was right about that, there will be none. The fans on the porch were barely turning and you couldn’t turn them up higher so there was no air flow. It stayed too hot to enjoy it. The house was very spacious and had a lot of nice features. I messaged the owner many times about my paper work and they never and my questions. They just sent automated responses. The check out instructions didn’t fit the home. They said to put all towels in the downstairs bathroom. There’s no downstairs. There was huge black pipes going across the beach so it was hard to enjoy the beach. It stayed crowed making it hard to find a place to set up your umbrella. The gold cart could only be driven by 21 years old. But you’ll see an 8 year old flying by on a gold cart. My 19 year old niece was bummed she couldn’t drive it anywhere and always had to take her car which was a hassle because there’s mainly parking for golf carts everywhere. I’ll definitely come back to ocean lakes but I won’t stay in this home until they completely renovate for the black mold.
