The Wyndham Palm Aire is a tropical golf and spa treasure. This incredible condo is available for rent at an affordable price! The resort is located about 10 minutes outside the city of Fort Lauderdale. The Wyndham Palm Aire is a gated community with security on staff 24/7. The resort amenities are 4 outdoor swimming pools, outdoor children's pool, tennis courts, 3 golf courses, 2 outdoor hot tubs, fitness center, day spa and salon, playground, miniature golf, and basketball court.

The Wyndham Palm Aire resort front desk requires a security deposit of $250.00 upon check in. The security deposit is refunded at check out. Also, the resort has a $20.00 daily fee for parking.

The name provided will need to be the name of the person responsible for checking into the condo. The name on the reservation will be the only one allowed to check in with the resort front desk. The person responsible for checking into the condo needs to be 21 or over. We can put up to two names on the guest confirmation and the rest of the guest can be added at check in. ANY CHANGES TO THE GUEST CONFIRMATION ONCE CONFIRMED REQUIRES A $129 CHANGE FEE.

This is a nice resort with many amenities that were all in good shape. The Unit was very nice and very large and had obviously been updated recently. Special kudos to the host for enhancing our reservation by extending the checkout by one day. Our reservation was from Thur to Sun. He knew we had asked for a late checkout because our plane did not leave until Sunday at 6 pm. When we checked in, we were pleasantly surprised that the resort desk said checkout was Mon at 10 am. By the host extending it, at no extra cost, it allowed us to wake up slowly and enjoy resort amenities on Sunday morning before packing up in the afternoon. I would definitely book with this host again, and we are already talking about going back to the same place next year.

Family travel

We stayed here for a hockey tournament with our family. Kids had fun and we had plenty of room. It’s a time share condo so it’s more of a resort feeling. I loved having the washer and dryer. Just be strong on check in to decline the time share meeting. It was a “retirement community” age group when we visited (January).

Stay here every year. Location and apartments are great. Right off 95. Feel very safe, large apt, full kichen. Basicaly a condo that you could live in.

We enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham Palm-Aire. Employees were very helpful and friendly. The location is interesting. The Walmart store across the street is helpful but you have to be aware of the people around you.

Amazing Home Away from home!

My family and I have been vacationing @ Wyndham Palm Aire for a few years. We enjoy visiting the sister resorts and participating in the resort sponsored activities. Resort staff have always been extremely nice and welcoming. Owner was very accommodating with assisting my family and I with a personal issue. We look forward to our future vacations.

Great Place for Family Vacation

When planning my annual family vacation to South Florida, my daughter's only request was that she have her own room. This was my first VRBO stay, and it was fantastic staying in what amounted to a 2-bedroom apartment with all the amenities of a resort! The pools were excellent; the gym was excellent, and there were plenty of restaurants and grocery stores around.The accommodations were great - my daughter had her own bedroom and bathroom in her own wing of the apartment. We made great use of the facilities - making breakfast each day, storing left over food, and going home without too much laundry to do because we could do it on-site.I would recommend this property and this owner!

A great place for families

We had a wonderful stay in Pompano Beach. The condo had plenty of room for our family of four. We took advantage of the pools, the mini-golf, the basketball court, the walking trail, one of the grills, as well as some of the fun things the resort offered (an exotic animal show was a real hit with our kids). It was about a 20-minute drive to the beach, but we took utilized the parking and the facilities at one of the resort's sister properties, which was great. Matt was awesome. He encouraged me to call him the day before our departure to make sure we had all of our questions answered. He was very thorough. Check-in took a while, and I had to say no several times to the very nice woman who wanted me to sign up for a time share presentation, but otherwise we had a great experience. Our sports-loving 7-year-olds have already asked us when we can go back.

So much potential/Not as described

When I originally booked this place, I did so because of all of the promoted amenities. All the saunas and steam room and pools, etc. we’re going to be an added bonus. When we got there, we were shuffled into a timeshare presentation which we opted in and regretted. Next they gave us a room in which the balcony was over the busiest intersection in the world and was super super noisy. The actual place was nice and the bed was comfortable, but for the most part, the Jacuzzi were broken. The steam room was broken. The weight room was run down and it wasn’t what I expected . Happy little winter escape! :)

We had a two bedroom unit which offered plenty of space when our two adult children visited during our 11 night stay. We used the kitchen on a regular basis. It was adequately stocked and we had groceries delivered and went to the grocery store a few times. There are at least 2 that I know of close by. We also walked to a couple of great restaurants and the casino that was close by. We did not have a car, but ride share was easy to access. We loved sitting on the balconies, sitting by the pool, grabbing an occasional beverage at the bar or coffee shop, played corn hole, and mini golf. I also absolutely loved that there was a walking path right out the back of our condo. One thing that I would highly suggest for improvement at the property is a better system for getting groceries and restaurant orders delivered. The drivers were always confused and I was almost late on my flight out because of it. Please offer tips on how to make this process smoother. The only other small hiccup was that the shuttle service to the sister beach resort is done through a system that isn't great. There could be some improvement on that, but it is nice that it is offered in the first place and we enjoyed our visits to the beach too! I would love it if this resort offered bike rental with all of the paths with easy access. It would be easy to bike to one of the two grocery stores and I saw some paths that looked new and some roads that weren't busy like the main ones. I would stay again for sure!

A very frustrating experience, this is a Timeshare/Hotel not a Condo

We had to wait 2 1/2 hours to check-in, because this is a Timeshare that the owners rent, it is managed by the resort. They finally gave us a room after I demanded to speak to a manager at 6:30. the check-in time in the ad stated 4:00PM. When I called Matt, he said it is out of his control. The Timeshare Representatives are very aggressive wanting us to buy a Timeshare, I would never buy another Timeshare , I already own one. I was looking for a quiet condo for my vacation, not a Timeshare. The room was in a newly renovated building, so it was clean, HOWEVER, they did not connect everything correctly and the FIRE ALARMS went off at 12:00 Midnight startling everyone in the building, forcing us to go outside in the cold. Nobody from the resort show up to tell us anything, when I called the front desk, they said the fire department was call but no fire trucks came, they finally stopped the loud ringing and we returned to the room an hour later only to have the Fire Alarms go off again at 7:00PM that evening. one of the property managers showed up and stated they were investigating the issue, by this time I was livid and demanded the problem to be fixed. an hour later I called the front desk to inquire about the issue, but the manager left for the night and no one knew why the fire alarms kept going off. Later that day a leak developed under the kitchen sink, when the maintenance man came to fix it, he said that the pipes were not tightened correctly. This was very frustrating

The pools were clean and warm ! Hot tub could be ready for makeover! Food at the splash little food place was good but very irregular hours! Couldn’t rely on when it would be open, maybe due to lack of staff! Staff are friendly ! One Elevator was out for three days, fixed only to break down 2 wks later, was only out 1 day ! Lots of cut backs due to staffing shortages! Our room was clean but had to call for plugged drain and running toilet, guy was nice and fixed all problems quickly! It’s a nice resort overall!

2nd Visit to Pompano Beach

This is a great property with large condos and several pools and a spa to choose from. There is a deli/snack bar that has the best desserts. The unit we stayed in had a great kitchen (all of the basics) and very large bedrooms and baths. Owner was helpful in providing information on getting around the "hard sell" of the time shares. We appreciated that! Will definitely stay there again on our next visit.
