Property was beyond expectations! View of Mt. LeConte and the Smokey Mountains were amazing from the back deck! Had everything our family needed for the 5 nights we were there. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were nice. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook with. Furniture was comfortable. AC worked well as it was 95 degrees out during our stay. Would highly recommend this property. Was an easy 30 minutes or less drive into Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the Great Smokey Mountains. Perfect for a family that has both shoppers and hikers like us! Great place and would definitely book this place again. Enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Bearded Bear Lodge this past weekend. Awesome mountain views that we'd never tire of. Always different. Especially beautiful sunsets and got to see a huge storm roll through one evening near sunset. Exciting! Love the house. The vibe and decor perfection. Very comfie beds, great shower! Enjoyed the hot tub, a lot. All essentials tastefully provided. Can't say enough wonderful things about the property or our stay. We'd definitely stay there again. We even saw a mama black bear and her three cubs, from safely high up on the back deck, wrestling and frolicking in the back yard. It was delightful! An awesome addition to our stay and very fitting since we were staying at the Bearded Bear Lodge, after all

Driveway is very steep, when the pavement was wet it was difficult to drive up. Copperhead is hiding the front landscaping, thankfully we saw somewhat at the beginning of our trip, but did cause concern for using the horseshoe pit and getting into our parked cars. Setting is beautiful!

Honeymoon Trip

Reviewer Comments: The cabin was beautiful with a phenomenal view, comfortable linens, and great shower pressure. It was clean overall, but it felt like it had been a while since anyone had freshened things up, and the throw rugs looked a bit dingy. The biggest issue was the dryer not working. I did laundry the night before checkout and had to haul wet clothes for hours. Which cut into our trip. When I reported it, management was dismissive, which was disappointing. It’s a lovely spot, but better maintenance and more attentive service would make a big difference.

This cabin was very good. We had a great time there, the views were amazing. The reason it was not 5 stars, was the dryer did not dry. It turned on, no matter what setting we used, it would not get warm. Also, the listing stated pet friendly. We don't mind our dogs hair, not someone elses dog. Though we did not bring our dogs, there was some dog hair throughout the cabin. So we had to do a little bit of tidying up before we unpacked our things for the week. We did see a mama bear with 3 cubs walking through the back yard. A bear also opened our car door and crawled through the car and looked around, we had just pulled in and were carrying bags into the cabin, the doors of the car were shut, I went back out to lock the car and the drivers door was open! Lol! There were muddy paw prints on the door handle and on the front and back seats! I asked the host for the ring camera footage, but was told they did not have access to the footage. I just wanted to show my friends for the story! In conclusion I would stay here again, if the dryer worked and the cabin was a little more tidy. Other than that the cabin was very good.

Thank you for your feedback. While we take extra measures in pet friendly cabins it may be possible for some to exist.. But throughout the cabin is not up to what we expect from our team or for our guest. We will review the housekeeping results with our team and esure adjustments are made.

A Bachelor Party Endorsed by the Local Wildlife

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came for my son’s bachelor party and left with the distinct impression that the local wildlife had RSVP’d before we did. A young black bear made a cameo (from a respectful distance, thankfully — we wanted the groom alive for his wedding), a full flock of wild turkeys held their own parade across the backyard one morning like they owned the place, and a raccoon strolled onto the back porch to personally supervise one groomsman’s hot tub soak. No notes on his technique, apparently — the raccoon just watched.Beyond the surprise animal welcoming committee, the cabin itself was the real star. Waking up above the morning fog, coffee in hand, watching it roll through the valley below — that view alone should be prescribed for stress. It’s the kind of scene that makes you forget you’re one buddy’s group text away from wedding chaos.Would absolutely stay again, ideally with the same wildlife lineup. 10/10, the bear gave it two paws up.

We enjoyed our six night stay. The cabin has all the amenities we needed. The porch has rocking chairs to relax and enjoy the fantastic mountain view during the day and the starry sky at night. The hot tub is great after hiking in the park. The beds are comfortable too. Loved the video game machine and checkers table. Communication with the hosts was great.

The cabin was perfect for my daughter and myself. The views were incredible! The hot tub was awesome. The fire pit was amazing. I loved all the modern updates. Not too far from town. Saw a bear! Drive up was a bit inclined but not too bad. It truly was a wonderful rental and I would definitely come back!
