ENDLESS SUMMER

Hang 10...Like totally rad dude…okay, it is no secret that you probably won’t catch the gnarliest wave of your life on these local waters but you feel like you just rolled up in your woody to a beachside chalet in Hawaii. The endless summer has all the fine qualities and comforts of home. We have a queen-size bed and a full sleeper sofa in this open floor plan. Whether you are planning a family trip, getting away for a weekend with the girls/guys, or taking a break from it all with a weekend devoted to just you; this cottage is conveniently located close to all the key places in the area. The fully equipped kitchen is the perfect place to blend a cold refreshing drink after a long day relaxing on Rockport's blue wave award winning beach or catching a large redfish at the new Fulton Town pier located a couple blocks from our place.

Note: This cottage is not big enough for more than 2 adults. It will work for 2 adults and 1-2 kids (under 12) but it will be tight quarters.

Now is my Favorite Place!

This cottage was clean, had everything needed and the management made sure I had what I needed. The location is walking distance to the water , 2 blocks from all of the entertainment yet it’s nestled back and quiet when time to sleep. I just loved it! This is where I will call first for availability when I visit Rockport!

Winter Texan

It suited us both and our dog. Super super clean. There are five other units, an outside deck. Walking distance to bars and restaurants. We spent just under five months here, the owner was very responsive if needed. Would certainly return again.

The property was nice, worked out great for us with fishing gear and not having to worry about leaving it in the car overnight as parking it right out front. The only issue we had, which was minor, is there was no remote to run the cable and change channels. Not that we were there enough to watch TV but someone else might need it.

Nice small place to stay

The property was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen very small but functional. The bathroom was tiny. Shower head needs to be replaced. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 5 days. No bath mat. But, the bathroom was clean. I asked the owner if there was room to park our boat and trailer and was assured there was, but it was hard to park it there without being in the other occupants' way. It is a very good location...easy to walk to restaurants. I would recommend it, but I think it is best for only 2 people.

Cute cottage!

Perfect size for myself, daughter & granddaughter! Close to shopping & not far from the beach. It was quiet except for the live music nearby, but I enjoyed listening to it, wasn't overly loud. We loved it!

Nice get away

We decided last minute to get away for our anniversary 4th of July weekend. This place was clean and had everything we needed. Good location to get to restaurants and other places.

Cute place but better for just 2 people

Great location and cute cottage. It was not very clean but the owner tried to remedy the situation immediately. Hopefully they get a new cleaning service soon. I would not recommend staying here if you have kids because it is very small.

This house was so close to the fishing pier and within a short distance to pretty much everything we wanted to do. The size of the house was good for us and it was very clean. The contact person answered questions quickly. Great customer service!

Quick change of scenery

The unit was more than pleasant. It was in the prefect location for what I wanted. With few exceptions I could have parked my car for two days and walked everywhere I desired to go.

Holiday Weekend Trip

Enjoyed some fishing, area shops and restaurants, very fun, relaxing weekend. Only bad thing were the mosquitos, which after spraying heavily we enjoyed our coffee on the deck.

Small but cozy

Very small cabin but here was only two of us so it met all of our needs. The bed is super comfortable but up against the windows so the sun woke us up by 6:30 am every day. Particularly on the right side of the house, thicker blinds and/or some curtains would help. Great water pressure in the shower and full size refrigerator definitely made our short stay a great one. Not a lot to do within a walk-able distance. The restaurants close early and we couldn't find anywhere waterfront to just sit and relax but Rockport beach was about a 10 min drive and $5 daily parking away (my fault, I misinterpreted this in the listing). The ice maker is super slow but we used the new ice trays to help. Thanks for having these and a stock of all basic kitchen items! We really appreciated having a little foil for our beach picnics!

Loved covered 'gazebo' area! Kitchen well stocked and all appliances worked well. Bed 👍very comfy with good support! I do have a short 'wish list' as a longer term renter: a way to order movies, etc on TV; automatic weekly linen replacement- I washed linens at the washateria; or better yet a small washer and dryer on site with guest access only- I'd be happy to pay the same cost per load as washateria; finally, the couch/sleeper... I could not use it: seating too low, too hard; please, please- provide an easy chair/accent chair/wing back, etc. If extra guest expected provide folding cot. Only had 1 question during 6+ week stay: Lisa and Carl responded within an hour and question resolved immediately and to my complete satisfaction.

Did not meet expectation

The photos on line are not what the room looked like. There is visible water damage to the room in various places in the room I stayed in. The rooms could be really cute if things weren’t dated looking. The bathroom is extremely small!!! The shower head was just sticking out of the wall and not secured. The water pressure in shower is awesome. The appliances were dated. The area neighborhood is not that great and there is not enough lighting in the evening. Feel I didn’t get what I paid.

Missing items

No toilet paper in unit on arrival. Called 800 number and shortly after TP arrived. Only one of 3 lights in bathroom operated. One light out in dining area. Biggest complaint was a non working ice maker in refrigerator. We made ice in glassware in the unit. Suggest ice trays as a backup. Location was convenient to all we wanted to do but ad sounded like unit was close to a people beach; it is not! It is close to the water but not to a beach.

Summer Beach Getaway

This was a great place for my adult daughter and me to stay while spending time at the beach in Rockport. We loved the coziness of the cottage and the convenience of being able to walk to local restaurants and shops. It is a quiet neighborhood, yet close to so many interesting things to do. We really enjoyed it!
