We had a fabulous stay at the cabin. Everything was as expected from the listing. Clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting under the covered deck in the evenings and having breakfast on the deck watching the geese families swim by. It was a nice “home away from home” while we enjoyed the sites of Hot Springs.
The place was so cute! Right on the water and clean! My family had such a good time. The host was gracious, had clear communication , and was attentive. Check in and check out procedures were easy. We had everything we needed for a great time next to the water!
Our group had some picky sleepers, but we found this property to have very comfortable mattresses and pillows as well as a variety of beds and bedrooms to accommodate all the insomniacs in the party. Location is convenient too - 5 min to Walmart & the mall, 15 min to Central Ave and Bathhouse Row in old Hot Springs and the national park, and just a 5 min walk to Sam's restaurant/bar on the water. Great deck seating options and area for a boat if you bring one.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Overall, the experience was pleasant. Beds are so comfortable. As a group of adults, we had some pleasant moments of socializing in the kitchen and in the living room. The place is well located and everything is close by.However, the pictures don't reflect the current state of this place. It looks much older than you can see in the pictures. My biggest disappointment was the deck because we expected to spend time outside sitting on the furniture, but it was so dirty and dusty that it wasn't pleasant to sit there. Someone had left trash, and it was clear it hadn't been cleaned. We also couldn't use the grill or the stove; I didn't trust that they had been properly cleaned.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. We take cleanliness very seriously and were disappointed to hear that you felt the deck and outdoor furniture were not as clean as they should have been. We have addressed this with our cleaning team and will be paying closer attention to these areas between stays.
Regarding the grill and oven, both are provided for our guests’ use and were available and functional during your stay. The grill is an older outdoor grill, and we are already aware that it is something we plan to update. The oven was functional and available for guest use, and we were surprised to hear that it was considered unusable.
We also want to clarify that the home is a true A-frame lake house built in 2002, and its photos and character reflect that style. While we’re always making improvements to the property, we’re sorry it didn’t align with your expectations.
We’re grateful that you enjoyed the comfortable beds, the location, and your time together in the home. We have consistently received wonderful feedback from guests regarding the cleanliness and overall experience, and we will continue working to provide that same experience for every guest.
