RELAXING HOLIDAY ON BORKUM – WELCOME TO APARTMENT 5 (UP TO 6 GUESTS)

Enjoy a relaxing holiday in our well-maintained holiday home, located in a quiet yet central area. Our house offers a total of 5 comfortable holiday apartments and 2 cozy studio apartments – ideal for couples, families, or small groups. Shops and a bicycle rental station can be easily reached in just about 5 minutes by bike. The vibrant town center is around 10 minutes away.The family-friendly South Beach (Südstrand), with an adjacent, spacious dog beach, is only a 7-minute walk away. The North Beach (Nordstrand), featuring a promenade and music pavilion, can also be reached in about 15 minutes by bike.

DETAILS FOR APARTMENT 5 (approx. 50 sqm, across 2 floors, for up to 6 people):

LIVING & DINING AREA: Cozily furnished with an integrated kitchenette, including a dishwasher, 4-ring hob, and oven. The double sofa bed in this area provides sleeping space for 2 people.

SLEEPING AREAS: In addition to the double sofa bed in the living area, a romantic attic bedroom with a view of the lighthouse invites you to relax (a travel cot can be set up if required). A small adjacent room next to the bathroom is equipped with another double sofa bed.

BATHROOM: Modern bathroom with a shower.

OUTDOOR AREA: Large balcony with outdoor seating for relaxing hours in the fresh North Sea air. It offers plenty of sunshine from morning until evening.

SPECIAL FEATURES: Pet-free and smoke-free apartment. Free Wi-Fi is available for your convenience.

LINEN PACKAGE: For added comfort, bed linen and towels can be booked for 14.00 EUR per person.

LAUNDRY: Washing machines and dryers are available in the communal basement on-site.

ARRIVAL & PARKING: Parking spaces are located nearby along the tracks of the Borkum island railway (Borkumer Inselbahn).

SHORT STAYS: For bookings of fewer than 6 nights, a one-off flat fee of 40.00 EUR applies.

TOURIST TAX: Please note that the city of Borkum charges a visitor's tax (Gästebeitrag). This amounts to 4.80 EUR per night for adults and 1.50 EUR per night for youths aged 12 to 17 (children under 12 travel free of charge).

Alles wie beschrieben

Die Wohnung liegt sehr nah am Südstrand, bis zum Zentrum sind es ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Geschirr ist genügend vorhanden, sowie Gewürze, Essig und Öl. Die Fotos spiegeln die Wohnung genau wieder. Der Balkon ist nicht überdacht und grenzt zur eigenen Eingangstür. Die Schlafkammer im Erdgeschoss kann mit einer Türe verschlossen werden. Im 1. OG befindet sich das etwas größere Schlafzimmer, dies ist mit einer „Falt/Schiebetüre zu schließen. Da es im Dachgeschoss befinden sich dort einige Schrägen, größere Menschen sollten dort auf ihren Kopf aufpassen;-)Uns hat es gefallen und würden wieder kommen. Wir haben die Wohnung mit vier Erwachsenen genutzt.

Alles super

Wir fanden die Wohnung toll, schöne Aufteilung, die kleine Schlafkammer war für uns perfekt, da mein kleiner Sohn so nichts aus dem Bett fallen konnte. Küche ist bestens ausgestattet und das Badezimmer schön und neu. Die Lage ist auch super, die Kinder haben sich immer gefreut wenn die Inselbahn vorbei gefahren ist. Fussläufig alles gut zu erreichen und trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Einziges Manko ist wirklich der Wasserdruck da braucht man ewig zum duschen. Der Hausmeister vor Ort ist wirklich super nett und hilfsbereit das muss man einfach mal loben. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Borkum mit Enkelkinder

Top, alle hat es gut gefallen, sowohl Alt wie auch Jung. Lage zum Südstrand und allen Attraktionen als auch zum Ortskern war fußläufig gut meistern. Wetter auf Borkum war während unseres Aufenthalts sehr schön, hatten keine Regentage.

Schöne Wohnung Tolle Vermieter Lieber Hausmeister vor Ort 2 kleine Anmerkungen: die Dusche läuft mit Wasser über - verstopft? Und das obere Schlafzimmer wirkt risikofreudig. Holzboden knarscht und man merkt Unebenheiten im boden. Haben unten geschlafen. Küche prächtig ausgestattet.

Borkum Anfang Mai

Schöne, moderne und liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und waren begeistert, dass in der Küche vieles wie Mülltüten, Geschirrspülertaps, Spülmittel und Basisgewürze sowie im Bad Toilettenpapier und Handseife bereits vorhanden waren. Mückennetze an den Schlafzimmerfenstern wären empfehlenswert, damit man an den warmen Tagen nachts auch bei offenen Fenstern schlafen kann. Wir würden die Wohnung auf jeden Fall noch einmal buchen.

Die Drehtreppe ist gewoehnungsbeduerftig...man sollte noch laeuferisch fitt sein und auch kein Riese, um ins Bett zu kommen.Fuer uns war dies alles unproblemartisch.

Pragmatisch und gut

Die Wohnung ist gut eingerichtet, der Platz ist maximal ausgenutzt. Die Einrichtung ist sowohl gemütlich, wie auch sehr gut durchdacht. Vom Wäscheständer mit Wäschklammern bis zum Herd mit vier Platten und sehr viel Geschirr. Ist alles da. Sogar Bücher, Spiele und DVDs sind in der Wohnung vorhanden. Die Terrasse ist schön. Die Lage ist gut. Lediglich der geringe Wasserdruck in der Dusche und die geringe Stehhöhe aufgrund schräger Decken war eine kleine Einschränkung.

Na ja…

Wenn man tatsächlich mit 6 Pers. diese Wohnung bucht, dann viel Spaß … Leider wird nicht erwähnt, das die Wendeltreppe nach oben selbst für sportliche Menschen eine Herausforderung ist! Das Wort Kinderzimmer ist auch nicht so ganz passend! Ich kann nur sagen … hoffentlich hat man gutes Wetter. Das Bad mit ggf 6 Personen ist auch schwierig! Und als Frau sind lange Haare nicht das Ideale! Wasserdruck ist ein Fremdwort und die Brause ist alles andere als eine Brause. Außerdem ist die Körpergröße über 180 cm bei so viel Schräge nicht so gut und der Spiegel über dem Waschbecken auf Kindergrösse bemessen 🤣 Wir waren nur 3 Nächte dort und mit netten Freunden war alles okay !!!

Sieht gemütlich aus, man kann aber leider nicht gemütlich sitzen

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, gute Lage und sah gemütlich aus. Leider ist das Schlafsofa im Wohnraum weder zum sitzen noch zum schlafen geeignet. Die Rattanstühle am Esstisch sind nach einiger Zeit auch nicht wirklich bequem. Die Wendeltreppe zum Schlafzimmer ist sehr schmal und sehr steil und oben ist die Schräge so stark dass man kaum stehen kann ohne sich den Kopf zu stoßen. Alles in allem wäre es besser weniger Wert auf 6 Schlafgelegenheiten zu legen und dafür komfortablere Sitzmöglichkeiten anzuschaffen. Auch die Massen an Geschirr sind in so einer kleinen Wohnung überflüssig, man muss nämlich puzzeln um alles unterzukriegen. Für 6 Personen definitiv zu klein.
