Property:
The ideal location of the “Timpe Te” holiday home, right on the Gager marina, ensures the perfect blend of relaxation and variety. Here you can watch the fishermen and sailors as they dock and set sail, charter a sailboat, or take part in surfing and kitesurfing lessons in Thiessow—in short: experience the maritime atmosphere up close.
Hiking and nature enthusiasts will find striking viewpoints just a short walk away, such as the Zicker Mountains and the cliffs. With their fantastic views of the vast Baltic Sea, the expansive salt meadows, and rare orchid species, they remain a very popular destination for day trips.
You can also reach neighbouring Baltic Sea resorts, such as Göhren and Thiessow, by bike in no time from here. Along the kilometer-long Baltic Sea beach on the east coast of the Mönchgut Peninsula (about 2 km away), you’ll find not only ideal swimming spots but also numerous delicious restaurants and cafes that invite you to take a break.
In general, Göhren also offers many recreational activities. For example, there’s a cinema, a bowling alley, tennis courts, and much more. Additionally, you can explore the entire island from Göhren either by boat or on the “Rasender Roland” train. The 120-year-old steam locomotive invites you on a nostalgic tour through the beautiful natural scenery of the island’s southern region. Along the way, you’ll discover, for example, the Granitz forests and Granitz Hunting Lodge, which is the most popular castle in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
We look forward to your visit!
