The spacious, sunny balcony faces south and is accessible from the living room. The windows and patio door in the living-dining area were replaced in November 2022 and now offer excellent thermal insulation thanks to triple glazing. An insect screen swing door was installed in the patio door. Interior roller blinds protect against direct sunlight in the summer. The windows in the two separate bedrooms were replaced in the spring of 2024, and electric roller blinds provide added comfort. The windows now feature triple-pane glazing and fly screens, giving the rooms a modern, bright look. The first bedroom has a comfortable double bed (with new Emma One spring mattresses, installed in March 2023). The second bedroom features a single bed and a tandem bed (extendable to 1.60 m) as well as an additional 32-inch TV. The modern en suite bathroom includes a washer-dryer in addition to the shower.<br><br>You can use the Wi-Fi internet connection (50 Mbit/s) free of charge. A designated parking space for your car is located directly in front of the house, as well as a wallbox. The 11 kW wallbox is available for free use. You must bring your own Type 2 charging cable. The Baltic Sea resort of Breege, along with its district Juliusruh, is situated on the Schaabe Spit on the Wittow Peninsula, which is connected to the Jasmund Peninsula to the southeast.<br>The Schaabe is an approximately 12-kilometer-long spit and promises a true paradise for swimming and beachgoers! The fine-sand beach and the blue waters of the Baltic Sea are equally popular with all Rügen holidaymakers and locals alike. It’s not just during the summer and swimming months that there’s a lively atmosphere here; the Baltic Sea also has its charm in the winter months. When the wind blows from the east and washes up flotsam, with a little luck and a lot of patience, you can find the “gold of the Baltic Sea”—a popular holiday souvenir: amber. But you can also discover sea urchin shells, fossilised sea urchins, and clams during long walks along the beach. If you return from the beach feeling hungry, you’ll find several restaurants and eateries in town that serve freshly caught Baltic Sea fish. And if you’re just looking for a quick snack, you’re guaranteed to find a fresh and delicious fish sandwich.<br>The harbour is located 800 metres from the holiday home. From here, you can take a boat to Ralswiek, to the Störtebeker Festival, or to Hiddensee.<br>For those who enjoy sports, the Nordstrand, just 8 kilometres away, is highly recommended. Here, the Baltic Sea is rougher and perfect for surfing and kitesurfing.
