This was a very relaxing three days with the family. We were able to get on the water and paddle board and jump into the hot tub right after. We really enjoyed our time playing games and spending quality time together. Jeff was very easy to get ahold of and was able to answer all of our questions. I would definitely recommend staying.

Beautiful location and amazing Fourth of July fireworks show! Jeff was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. Exterior of house is amazing! Interior needs some maintenance. Hot tub was a little funky our first two nights until owner replaced the filter. Overall good experience!

I was hesitating between 3 and 4 stars because there are many good things about the property and the owner was communicative, generous and did his best to fix the things that didn't work. First the good. There's lots of room to relax and play, the place is nicely setup for outdoor living, there's plenty of lawn for games, and water toys and the lake of course. The owner has some clever tricks to keep the geese away, which is nice! We didn't sleep in it but enjoyed visiting the unique treehouse. The owner generously let us get eggs from the hens in his chicken coop, really fun for our kids and delicious! We enjoyed the ping pong table! But not everything was great. The house layout is a bit strange: the kitchen entry is far away from the front door or the room where the indoor dining table is. The kids/bunk room is far away from the bathrooms. The house has some brand new appliances and high tech things, and at the same time there were broken closet doors, kitchen cabinets that could use some love, and a hole through the master toilet door. We had to finish drying some sheets when we checked in and find towels in the closet (only 2 had been put out for a 6-person reservation). The outside deck had not been cleaned. There was standing dirty water in the dishwasher - the owner sent someone to fix that the same day. Most weirdly, the fridge kept tripping a circuit breaker in the mornings. Note the lake is busy with party boats and shallow at the deck (can't dive).

This house is amazing. It's sad we didn't get to use all the amenities, but if we had more time, we definitely would. It has a great backyard, with a great view. There's a bbq, fire pit, hot tub, heated tree house, and just an amazing view. Jeff was very responsive with all my questions I had. Thank you for the memories!

I have lived on this property for 15 years and absolutely adore it. We plan on still living here 50% of the time so this is not going to be an exclusive rental. I also own a furniture store so all of the mattresses and the furniture is very high-end and nice. We are looking to do some more opportunities and are really looking forward to sharing how beautiful our property is.

Why they chose this property

It's one of the rare lots in all of Black lake that is west facing so you get to see sunsets and it has a natural sandy beach. We also import sand to make it more like a resort in Mexico!

What makes this property unique

It is one of the only lake lots with wetlands on one side and only 1 neighbor. A natural sandy beach from Black lake is on our property so when you wade into the water instead of walking through muck we have sand which makes swimming much more enjoyable. West facing sunsets ensures 100's of amazing sunsets every single year.
