Nestled in the peaceful hills of the Almería countryside, Casa Tomaddi is an adults-only (16+) rural hideaway designed for guests who value comfort, privacy, and understated style. It is ideal for couples or small groups of friends or family looking to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of inland Andalucía.

The property consists of two separate, recently renovated accommodations rented together for up to six adults:

Casa Mookie, a charming cortijo-style house with:
1 superking bedroom with hot and cold air conditioning and en-suite shower room
1 king bedroom with hot and cold air conditioning and separate bathroom with bathtub downstairs
1 living area with 50 inch Smart TV and log burner
1 living area with full size fusball table
Large kitchen with dining area, gas oven, washing machine, Dulce Gusto coffee machine, microwave, kettle and toaster

Apartamento Ruby, a self-contained studio with:
Hot and cold air conditioning
Superking size bed
Smart TV with live channels
Sofa area
Desk with ergonomic chair for remote workers
Bathroom with wet room shower
Kitchen with fridge freezer, gas hob, electric oven, Dulce Gusto coffee machine, toaster and kettle
Dining area for 2 people

Outside
Guests have exclusive use of a private 8 x 4 metre pool (heated from May to October) with deep end, a dedicated games room with full-size pool table and honesty bar, several terraces for sun and shade, and the tranquil Long Garden with hammocks and orange trees.

Quality furnishings, thoughtful touches, and plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces make it easy to relax together or find a quiet corner to unwind.

We live in a separate house at Casa Tomaddi with our own entrance, so are available if you need anything, but after checking you in, you will be left to enjoy all the facilities without us.

We are Tom, Maddi and Rusty the rescue boxer! We are new to VRBO but have been renting on other platforms for the last year.

Tom has been working on renovating Casa Tomaddi for us to expand our offering from just the studio apartment in 2025, to the house and apartment this year.

Maddi works full time remotely and in her spare time loves decorating, refurbishing old items and making Casa Tomaddi as welcoming as can be for guests.

And Rusty, well he has the best dog life ever. He will be there to greet you when you're checking in, if you want to. But if you don't, he's easy going and we'll keep him away.

Why they chose this property

We were looking for some time for a property in the south of Spain that could offer us the flexibility to rent out separate accommodation, while still having somewhere to live ourselves but where we could stay out of the way of guests and make sure everyone has privacy.

It was the house that first brought us to look in Almeria, but we love the beautiful scenery that surrounds us. It's peaceful but not isolated and we're only an hour from the stunning coastline.

What makes this property unique

We've tried our best to pack in as much for guests as possible to make it so you don't want to leave Casa Tomaddi.

Casa Tomaddi has 2 separate private guest accommodations. We only rent them collectively to groups as that's what we really feel our place is suited for. The first is a detached studio apartment, recently renovated with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The second is a 2 bedroom house, with separate entrance. It has a kitchen and dining area where the whole group can eat (although let's face it, in Spain you'll mostly want to eat outside!). There are two living areas. One with sofa seating for the whole group, and another with table fusball.

Outside our 8x4m pool is heated between May and October, and has a deep and shallow end.

We offer lots of different outdoor relaxation areas. From sunloungers by the pool, to dining areas for the whole group, and more intimate areas if you want to break into smaller groups or have time by yourself. All of these with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

We have a given our games room a makeover and it's now a plush space to escape the heat of the afternoon sun, or to while away the evenings. It's main feature is a full size pool table and it also offers an honesty bar with snacks and drinks, board games, books and a Bluetooth speaker so you can connect your own music.

We have tried to make Casa Tomaddi a versatile, relaxed and welcoming spaces for small groups to enjoy. We're close at hand if you need us, but we otherwise leave you to enjoy all that our space has to offer.
