A temporary home in Upper Bavaria’s Five Lakes Region—we’re renting out an idyllic country house with a sauna (approx. 55 sqm of living space) on a property of about 4,500 sqm in a dreamlike location (nature reserve), near Lake Starnberg with views across meadows and forests to the Zugspitze and the Alpine panorama, situated on the edge of the forest. A 10-minute walk from the holiday homes to the romantic Moorsee (Lake Maisinger)—pure nature! The property—the “Sonnau”—is located 6 km outside of Starnberg. In Starnberg, there is an S-Bahn connection to Munich (30 minutes) and Tutzing. There are two additional country houses on the property.
At nearby Maisinger Lake, you can swim, ice skate, play curling, or dine at the restaurant (serving excellent Bavarian cuisine). In the nearby high mountains and foothills, you can go hiking and rock climbing.
