The living area has direct access to the large south-facing terrace. A sofa bed is available for 5-6 guests.<br> The open-plan, fully equipped kitchen includes a hob, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, refrigerator, and freezer. It is also stocked with ample dishes and cooking utensils.<br> The master bedroom features a double bed (180cm x 200cm) with bedside tables, a large wardrobe, a desk, and access to the south-facing terrace. There is ample space in this room to set up a baby cot.<br> The smaller bedroom has a double bed (160cm x 200cm) with bedside tables, a wardrobe and access to the south-facing terrace.<br> One modern bathroom features a walk-in shower, a vanity, a toilet, and underfloor heating. The second bathroom is brand new (completed in March 2022) and includes a walk-in shower, a vanity, a toilet, and a new sauna. This bathroom also offers direct access to the west-facing terrace, perfect for relaxing after a sauna session.<br> A spacious south-facing terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue, offering direct access to the lush communal garden and unparalleled views, is particularly inviting during the summer months. There is also an equally spacious west-facing terrace perfect for enjoying the evening sun.<br> The apartment has a washing machine and dryer, which are available for your free and exclusive use. The building also offers free Wi-Fi (medium speed, sometimes fluctuating) and a shared table tennis room. Free parking is available on the premises.<br><br> Bed linen, towels, tea towels and a hairdryer are provided.<br><br> Note: O2 mobile network coverage is partially unavailable in Menzenschwand. Other mobile networks have good coverage in some areas.<br><br> Menzenschwand lies in a beautiful, wide high valley and stretches across the valley floor. There is a tourist information office, a children's playground, a miniature golf course, and a wildlife enclosure (where visitors are welcome to feed the deer and does). The modern radon spa is well-known far beyond Menzenschwand.<br><br> Supermarkets can be found in the neighbouring towns of St. Blasien (Edeka, Lidl right at the entrance to the village - just under 10 minutes away) or Bernau. Menzenschwand has a bakery. Several good restaurants are available in the village.<br><br> All prices are subject to a tourist tax of €3.90 per person per day for adults and young people aged 16 and over, and €2.10 per person per day for children and young people aged 6 to 16. The day of arrival and the day of departure are counted together as one day of stay. The tourist tax is billed separately and not by Vrbo.<br><br><br> ACTIVITIES<br><br> Summer<br><br> Hiking and Nordic walking<br> The Black Forest Highlands are a certified premium hiking region that has something to offer everyone: from hiking with children to long-distance trails, or hikes to waterfalls and through gorges. The Menzenschwand Waterfall, for example, impresses with its gorge featuring walls up to 30 metres high.<br><br> Menzenschwand offers the largest Nordic walking network in Germany.<br><br> Swimming and water fun<br> Boats can be rented or taken by ferry on both Schluchsee and Titisee. Swimming is permitted in Schluchsee, Titisee, and Windgfällweiher. Schluchsee also features the Aqua-fun adventure pool (outdoor swimming pool). The Häusern forest outdoor swimming pool is situated in a beautiful setting.<br><br> Mountain biking<br> For mountain bikers, whether with or without a motor, there are almost unlimited possibilities: from the bike park in Todtmoos to a leisurely ride around the Schluchsee lake, everything is on offer.<br><br> winter<br><br> Skiing and snowboarding<br> The Spießhorn M
