Recently renovated 3-BR/2-BA apartment located in the heart of Cow Hollow/Pacific Heights neighborhood. Bustling Union Street, Chestnut Street, and Polk Street retail and restaurant corridors are just 1-4 blocks away. This apartment is perfect for families or friends traveling together!
All bedrooms have luxury linens and pillows, light filtering, and blackout shades to ensure that your sleep is uninterrupted. The master bedroom has a gorgeous gas fireplace with four cozy chairs and an ottoman. 2 quartz desks flank the fireplace, in case you need to work on your trip. The master bed is king-sized. The ensuite bathroom has a walk-in shower, handsome stone tiles, and double sinks. A walk-in closet rounds out this space.
The dining room is light and filled with views of the gorgeous architecture of the neighboring Carnegie Library. The kitchen is a chef's dream with a large island, four bar stools, double ovens, 6 gas burner ranges, a pot filler, a side-by-side refrigerator with water and ice service, a dishwasher, a large stainless steel sink, instant hot water, and a spray faucet. A work desk and wine & beverage refrigerators sit opposite the kitchen. The kitchen desk is supplied with a computer and printer for customer use.
The living room is adjacent to the kitchen with a large television and ample seating. The sliding doors in the living room lead you to a large deck with a gas Weber grill, a dining table, and stairs to the garden below.
The lower floor has a large foyer with a glass table, washer / dryer, two bedrooms, and an ADA-compliant bathroom. The bathroom is very large with double sinks, seamless shower entry with regular and hand-held shower head options.
Two bedrooms have doors to the private garden. The first bedroom has a king-size bed and a petite desk and chair. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and a Babyletto crib (including sheets) can be set up for $15 daily fee. Both bedrooms have Roku televisions.
Last but not least, the private garden is serene, with mature plantings, a dining table with 6 chairs, and a gas fire pit surrounded by comfortable seating.
We have a no pet policy; however, service animals may stay at the apartment WITH prior notification. Because we will need to shampoo carpets prior to another stay, expect extra cleaning fees.
The cleaning fee is calculated based on the number of nights of your stay. If you are staying for 7-13 days, the cleaning will occur after you check out. If your stay is more than 14 days, there will be service midstay and we will schedule it on a day and time that is convenient to you.
Parking is available on the street. I recommend using public transportation, Taxi, Uber/LYFT/Waymo for the convenience. If you plan on renting a car, try to manage with a compact model, and let me know as soon as possible, so I can order a street parking pass from the city. There is a nominal fee for the pass, Your stay is not contingent on the parking pass. Guests will pay the host directly for the parking pass prior to check in.

No smoking of any kind in the apartment, back yard, or front sidewalk.
No house parties. No more that 8 people in the apartment at any time. Only the number of people that were indicated when rented may spend the night.
We have a no pet policy. However, if you have a licensed service danimal, we will allow ONLY when approved by us prior to the rental.

This property was outstanding in every way. The location is amazing - close to many shops and restaurants on Union Street and a short walk to the Marina, Russian Hill and Fillmore St neighborhoods. The apartment is brand new, well-appointed and very spacious and clean. Jane is a great host who is easy to work with and is very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!
Couldn't have been any better!The place was beautiful, spotless, and equipped beyond anything we have seen in quite some time.Jane is an excellent host, even sharpened the knives knowing we would be cooking Thanksgiving dinner during our stay.The location can't be beat, walking distance to everything in Cow Hollow and The Marina; and Pac Heights, Russian Hill, North Beach, and Fisherman's Wharf are all close by.One of the nicest places available in SF.We look forward to returning.

It was so nice hosting your family reunion for Thanksgiving! If there could be a perfect family to rent our apartment, it would be the St John family, respectful, kind and joyful. At the end, our place was left in such good condition, which was much appreciated. Thank you!
This home is excellent. Each light filled room is lovely and very comfortable. The amenities are top notch. The neighborhood is super for walking, for cafes, restaurants, parks, and is also very central. The hosts greeted us on arrival and were very responsive when we had any questions as well. We loved it!
We were supposed to stay with our service dog and the host made it very difficult, she didn't have a horrible attitude. Not a good experience at all, so we decided to leave.

This review is from a disgruntled person, who changed her mind about staying and tried to get a refund after checking in. I am not sure of her motivations, but she appealed to VRBO for a refund and was denied by them after they reviewed the text and communication evidence. My apartment was renovated in 2023 with top of the line finishes, and she was our first renter. I was very kind during check in, even though I was surprised by them having a service dog (no communication about this until 30 min before check in). The house rules were sent to them as soon as they booked and we had communication prior to the week, and the day of check in. I personally showed them around the apartment and told them they could even let their dog use the back yard for elimination (as long as they picked up). the ratings of 4/10 for cleanliness and listing accuracy is completely unfair, her assessment of 6/10 for location is ridiculous - we are in the most desirable neighborhood in SF, 2/10 for communication and check in is very unfair and unwarranted. I have tried to appeal to VRBO to take down the reveiw, but they will only do so under the following conditions:
The full name of a property staff member is mentioned
Evidence of violence to a child or child pornography
Evidence of serious injury or death of any guest
Discriminatory language
Nudity or other inappropriate photos
I hope this review doesn't deter you from renting!

The Cow Hollow / Pacific Heights neighborhood is one of the most vibrant in all of San Francisco. Our home is 1 block from the Union Street restaurant and retail corridor, and 4 blocks from Chestnut Street.
What makes this property unique
Our home was renovated in 2023 with top of the line finishes. The kitchen is a cook's dream with gas range, double ovens, refrigerator/freezer and wine & drink refrigerators. The master bedroom has a cozy fireplace with 2 work stations. There is another work station off the kitchen and another in the second bedroom.
