Our unit was remodeled and nice but the outside looked older than all those surrounding. The pool was small but clean. Access to the beach was very close and the private beach had just been restored and was amazing!

Thank you, Cassie, for your feedback. We are happy you enjoyed this home. We sincerely apologize for the issues you have encountered during your stay. We will continue to work with both our local staff and homeowner to make improvements to this home, and we hope you'll give us a second chance to impress you.
Overall was a nice stay. The unit is older and could use some updates. Cleanliness could have been better. Sticky kitchen floors and some stains on linens. Nice location and short walk to the beach.
We love our time at Dauphin Island and very much enjoy being at the condo. The access to private beach is our favorite part. The condominium is quiet and everyone is always friendly. Vacasa staff were helpful and fast when our key code wouldn’t work. This was our second time staying in this unit and I imagine we’ll be back again!
We really enjoy this condo. The private beach access is amazing! We used the pool this time and it’s nice- deeper than we’d thought. The unit has many things needed to prep meals and is comfortable place to hang out. You can see the ocean out the living room windows. The surf club condominiums feel safe and friendly. This was our third trip, highly recommend.
Nice clean and updated accommodation. Bed in master bedroom sags to the center. Neighbours can be a little noisy during early morning hours. I would not consider this a "beachfront" accommodation. Depending on where you stay in the complex, a short walk to the beach is required.
I would recommend staying here.
This home is huge for a typical 2 bedroom condo. Our family of 5 had so much space to relax and enjoy the beautiful gulf view from the entire wall of windows! The updated remodel makes it look amazing - especially as the outside makes you question how nice the place actually is. The pool was heated and warm and the short 3 minute walk around the building to the beach led to a great beach. The home was well furnished with 3 laundry pods and dishwasher pods, soaps and shampoo/conditioner. We are typically a 1 and done for our beach stays as we like to see new places each summer, but if we ever make it back to Dauphin, Island we would FOR SURE rent again. The Island itself is not a tourist trap, which we LOVE! No busy beaches, quiet walks on the sand or along the nice bike path. Not many restaurants to choose from, but you MUST try the bakery - it was amazing!! We enjoyed 2 days trips from this awesome location. One to Louisiana for a swamp boat tour and another we took the Mobile Bay Ferry to a public beach in Florida! Fort Gains and the Estuarium were worth the $ for fun morning learning experiences for our kids 12, 9, and 6. Thanks for a fabulous week of memories!
