A very quiet & private villa set on a great size plot at the end of the cul-de-sac. We didn't hear any neighbours in the whole 2 weeks although there are some. The villa itself was generally comfortable & reasonably equipped but in need of some TLC & updates. Check in information could have been more comprehensive in terms of locating the villa within the Faro Park 10 section. There is a map on the wall as you enter the gates of the development which shows each villa perfectly which could be provided. There were some minor issues with the villa most of which could have picked up before arrival but all corrected by villa maintenance within a reasonable period of time on request. Management were swift with e-mail responses & updates.For us, the villa location is the biggest plus. If you can't to bothered to go into the Playa Blanca or Marina Rubicon then its only 250 yards to the parade of shops, bars & restaurants on Calle Irlanda - there are plenty of good quality eating places there & some nice small bars. The new Lidl & Aldi shops in the resort are a big plus although a taxi ride away if you don't have a car.The bus service into Playa Blanca is very cheap & regular @ EUR1.40 each running every 15 mins daytime & 30 mins evenings. Taxis are cheap too @ EUR6.50 into main resort or EUR8.50 to the Marina but they can be slow on busy evenings (weekends definitely).For anyone with mobility issues, the steps into the pool are pretty steep & have no support.
