Had an excellent stay. The rooms were all a good size and we had everything that we could need. The outside space was very spacious and lots of seating overlooking the heated pool where we spent most of our time. A BBQ was a bonus as well.

This is not a luxury villa. Whilst our stay was reasonably comfortable, so many things could be done to improve the overall condition, appearance and facilities. In general, the property is very tired and in need of attention. On the positive side, the villa is in a good location close to shops and restaurants. The coastal promenade is a 10 minute walk away where you can then walk into Playa Blanca which takes approximately one hour.

Although Villa was clean and comfortable, it was not a luxury villa. Several issues with maintenance need to be addressed to improve stay for future guests.Only 3 sun loungers for a Villa that sleeps 5. And only one had a padded cushion. A second cushion was provided on request.Pool was cleaned regularly during our stay and was at a comfortable temperature for swimming despite weather not being so good.Lack of information about directions and access to Villa caused concerns. Needed to contact VRBO. Did get information, less than 48 hours before travel.Villa had basic condiments provided, and a fridge with wine, beer and water which was appreciated. Something most self catering accommodations don’t supply these days..Mid stay change of towels and bedding undertaken efficiently.Villa is moments away from the coastal path and near enough to bars and restaurants to be spoiled for choice.Overall good stay but could be improved.
What a lovely villa and quiet location. Walking distance to supermarkets and bars etc. Pool heated and perfect. Loved our stay and would be happy to return.

Great property
We had a lovely stay. Villa was a little tired but had everything we needed and more. A little out the way so we used the bus. Overall a great stay.
Villa clean and tidy on arrival as usual with pool clean and fresh. A great week and enjoyed local food at Port of Call, cold beers at Bill’s Sports Bar and great tapas at La Katedral. Usual great comms and arrangements with Soo-Mi. Thanks again!
As a frequent visitor to Villa Minerva, we had another fantastic holiday in April. Soo-Mi providing all the details we need for check-in and our booking, and with a new villa management team, there are some great improvements and now a very welcome Welcome Pack on arrival! Cracking views and pool, and a clean and comfortable villa make for a fantastic holiday. Thanks again Soo-Mi.
The villa is located in a quiet part of faro park close to the coast. Well equipped with everything you will need for self catering holiday. Bed was comfortable, all UK television channels available, comfortable lounge. Pool was at a nice temperature. A few bars and restaurants a few minutes walk away. A car would be useful but not essential
Very good value for money. Would definitely return.
Just back from our first stay at Villa Minerva. The villa was fantastically presented by the property managers. There was a welcome pack in the fridge and everywhere was clean and tidy. The villa contained everything we needed for our stay with the added bonus of a private heated swimming pool. I would recommend hiring a car but there is a local frequent and well used bus service leaving close by from Calle Irlande. The villa is within 10 to 15 minutes walk from some of the best restaurants in Playa Blanca and also a small selection of bars and coffee places. We had a great value break and Villa Minerva is a credit to the owners and managers. I would have no problem recommending a stay at Villa Minerva to anyone.

Villa Minerva
As always we had a great time in Lanzarote and will plan to go there next year. However I don't think we will stay at Villa Minerva again. This villa is described as "luxury" which I am sure it was once, but now it is rather tired and in need of some TLC/updating and a very good clear out and thorough clean. On the plus side the TV and internet were very good and the heated pool was great.

Disappointing
Very calm peaceful surrounding.
The Sea can be seen, however obstructed Boy numerous neigbour plants in the Front and a car in the back. Definiteley not „stunning“.
The door of the so called dining room has been critisized one year ago and still can hardly be opened. Nobody cares. It was raining through a leaking roof! Sofas and beds are pretty worn out. This is by no means a „luxurious Villa“.
A clean and well taken care of pool is surrounded by damaged floor tiles, dangerous to Walk barefoot.

This guest was not happy with any aspect of the villa. After a significant long rental discount on top of a reasonable rental price, he continued to demand further refunds after one was made as a gesture of goodwill and made threats about the review he was to leave. The leak is from a tiny crack in the external laundry room, not in the main house. The furniture and furnishings are in good order and we have had generally positive reviews over the years.

Nothing Luxury Here!!
We booked this property to stay from the dates of 21st - 31st of August 2021.
Negatives: Although the property had been cleaned with fresh sheets/towels, sadly there was a substantial amount of hair in the bathroom and wardrobes. The ironing board was made of more rust than metal leading to us not wanting to touch it let alone place our clothes on it. The kitchen was in a terrible condition, the oven was not secured to the wall allowing it to be pulled out whenever opened and as a result would not heat up to cook a simple meal. The surrounding of the fridge was rotting away which made the kitchen area feel unclean. Within the fridge there was a thick layer of stale milk and taped up draws where they had clearly been broken. Two weeks later we are still waiting for our deposit to be returned despite leaving the property in a cleaner state than when we arrived. Unfortunately we are unable to add photos to our review to show the lack of TLC this villa has.
Positives: The villa is situated in a lovely neighbourhood with a small walk to the local bars/shops and with the local taxi company making it affordable to get to the centre (£5). The heated pool was nice with it being shallower then normal allowing children to play with ease.

As there was no deposit taken there was none to return. This was explained to Donnah who decided to ignore fact and made false claims. Instead of a security deposit being taken pre-booking, VRBO now stipulates that a payment may be taken after checkout if the rules of the contract are broken or property is damaged. The oven is a built-in oven and again a false claim has been made about not being secured to the wall. It is perfectly functional. I am beginning to think she is writing about another property as this description does not fit my property and she is clearly unable to back up her claims with photographs. I have returning guests who are perfectly happy with the state of the property and have many positive comments to make. Disappointingly, Donnah is clearly not an honest person.
We've been holidaying in Playa Blanca for over 20 years and as always had a wonderful time. This was a last minute holiday booked within 2 weeks of departure, so not a lot of choice of villas left on Faro Park. This one is described as a Luxury villa, however, I think the word 'Luxury' in the description no longer applies. On opening the door on arrival, the villa smelt clean. The surfaces were clean, as was the bedding and towels provided. The double bed was comfy and we were asked to strip the bed on leaving, which I hate doing as I'd rather not look at what I've been sleeping on in any great detail. However, I was pleasantly surprised as everything was spotless. The over bath shower had good power and plenty of hot water. The internet was good as was the temperature of the pool. On the downside, everything is and looks tired. The bits that mattered most to us were; The patio doors are just hanging in there with a lot of damage at the bottom which makes them hard to open. The sofas have been well used and are now very uncomfortable. The enamel is chipped on the bath and the shower caddy is rusty. The mosquito nets have come away from the main bedroom window and you can see the many failed attempts at sticking them back. The pool cover is shredding away at the edges and come the end of the week the pool is filled with small pieces of micro plastic. Having said this, the villa is still a good base for a holiday, but not somewhere luxury to chill and relax.
Lovely to stay here again. Booking all very straightforward with Soo-Mi, and thanks again to Ann and Ted for their help. Some great meals out in Port of Call and Gusto’s. Smashing neighbours rounded off our holiday. We look forward to staying again in the future.
Good communication prior to arrival from Soo-mi with arrival instructions/directions and some recommendations to visit. Villa is in on lovely well maintained estate and has everything you need. Linen was changed half was through our stay by lovely couple Ann and Ted who have lived on the complex for 20 years. Private pool is a real bonus. Really enjoyed our stay and the location with morning walks along the costal path into town. Would stay again.
Easy to book through Vrbo, good communication with Su-Mi. Easy to find from the Airport with directions given. Property is in a lovely location, 5 mins walk from the coastal walk. Nearest beach is Playa Montana Roja which is 3 mins drive, approx. 15 minutes walk, along the road, behind Monica Palace Hotel, it's very small, but very quaint with a beach bar/restaurant. The villa is very nice but a little tired & could do with a bit of TLC. Some of the external doors are a little hard to open & close & could do with replacing. However, there is everything you could possibly want, heated swimming pool, lilo, games & toys for kids, including a smart TV, dishwasher & washing machine. There are a couple of mini supermarkets 10 minutes walk away, along with a few restaurants, a sports bar & lounge bar. Playa Blanca is approx. 10 mins drive away with free parking. Really is a lovely location, but you do really need a car. We had a lovely relaxing holiday, thank you 😁.
Everything about our stay was excellent. Very clean and comfortable. Villa has gorgeous sea views, the pool is lovely and warm and accommodation is great all round.
If you self cater, kitchen is really well stocked for cooking and there are a couple of supermarkets within a short walk and if you wish to eat out, there is lots of restaurants to choose from within 10 mins or less walk.
There is also a bus that takes you into town for €1.40 within a short walk.
All in all, a very enjoyable stay in a lovely villa, on a lovely peaceful estate. Would stay again.
We were very fortunate to spend one month at the villa. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The taxi company met us at the airport (first minute transfers), great staff and a lovely drive to Playa Blanca and Faro Park. The location is perfect, the villa management team were very helpful and our next door neighbours were an added bonus, as they were very helpful and pleasant throughout our stay. Overall the holiday was excellent value for money.
Great comms again with Soo-Mi, and Ann & Ted who look after the villa. Peaceful location with pool, lots of sunshine and sea views. Local food is fab and only 5 mins away.
We had a lovely 11 night stay here. We needed to chill and relax, and that’s what we got. Being on the edge of Faro park you do get the wind, but that is welcome when the sun comes out. Best of both worlds. The pool was lovely too.
