This amazing home in the heart of Topanga, is a newly renovated artistic one-of-a-kind cottage that provides stunning views and all the comforts of home along with high speed WIFI. This is a place to escape, unwind and connect with nature.

Soak in the clawfoot bathtub while watching the sky peer through the oaks. Plush queen pillowtop mattress complements a top floor bedroom with half bath. A full kitchen, deck and full bath provide a unique stay on this split level cottage.

Please note all levels are separate and require climbing stairs. This is a unique experience that generates a relaxed, open and creative mind. Additionally, there are lovely private trails + creeks for you to explore stunning canyon scenes. Public hikes + Topanga town 2 minutes away.

The cottage is 3 stories. The main floor features a living room, dining room and kitchen with 15 feet of real granite countertops. The upstairs bedroom is spacious with modern furniture, A/C, and a small half bathroom with toilet and sink.

The lower floor has a full bathroom with a clawfoot bathtub facing a large alcove window overlooking the oak trees. The walls of the bathroom are lined with cedar. It's a heavenly experience.

There are outdoor stairs to climb between the 3 floors! If you aren't comfortable climbing stairs this isn't the place for you.

Visiting this property is a very unique experience, some describe it as “glamorous camping”. NO CANDLES, SAGE, INCENSE, or other BURN MATERIALS, we are in a FIRE ZONE. No photoshoots or parties allowed without prior arrangement. Dogs are allowed for a $18 fee per night, per pet. Cats are NOT permitted for their own safety and allergy restrictions. Dogs are not permitted to be left unattended during your stay. If it causes a disturbance, a $25 fine will be implemented.

The Dragonfly House is the newest and most refined of our places. However, this is quite different from staying in an ordinary hotel. We are really in NATURE here - these cottages are hand-built by artists in the forest. They are very rustic! It's like living in a mountain village, with other cottages nearby. While we work very hard to keep our places pristine and spotless - if anyone in your party will faint if they see a bug or lizard, mouse or little frog inside, some dust or a spider web - then this probably isn't the place for you. Please be very careful booking cottages for someone else - like your parents just arriving from another continent - they might prefer something more conventional.

Some folks describe our places as a luxurious form of camping. We make our cottages very comfortable - they have all the basics - electricity - WIFI - most have kitchens, bath or shower and comfy clean beds. But they are different from hotel.
