Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. We stayed during a heat wave and the air conditioning was not working. We contacted the host and were told maintenance would be sent, but we received no further communication. We ultimately had to purchase a fan ourselves.There were also several cleanliness and maintenance concerns, including hair in the dish scrubber, crumbs in the refrigerator, a sink and bathtub that did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned, a shower valve that was extremely difficult to operate, coffee pot lid was broken (husband was able to fix that for us), and a broken down sofa bed. The bedroom was very tight, both my husband and I at different times hit our knee hard on the bed frame due to the limited space.The TV was also not working, nothing would load, and the Wi‑Fi connection was very poor.In addition, the apartment building had strong cigarette odor in the common areas. The neighborhood was quiet during our stay but we did not feel particularly comfortable there. The property has potential, but the combination of these issues significantly impacted our stay. We hope the host addresses the maintenance, cleanliness, and communication concerns for future guests.

This is a clean property that is economical. It is within walking distance of downtown Evansville. The air conditioner was not adequate for the space and could not keep the room temperature from rising on a warm day. The bedroom has a memory foam mattress that is very hard and hot to sleep on. We did not rest well. There is a coffee pot but no coffee provided. There also were no kitchen linens for washing and drying dishes.
