Great location and very nice cabin. Everything was labeled with instructions and well stocked. The deck was wonderful and the host communication was friendly and informative.
Cabin was clean and it had all what we need. We experienced strong septic smell inside the master bedroom. Host sent Maitenance crew to mitigate discomfort. Also, WiFi service was very poor.

I sent our maintenance crew over . The located the problem would require additional day to repair. We did in fact solve it temporarily. It was fixed the friday after your check out. In the mountains there are times, the WiFi is slow. We appologize for the inconmveinence and we did remedy the situation. We thank you for your stay.

We had originally booked this cabin for October 2024, but as many may know Helene swept through in late September. We had to cancel our reservation due to the damage to the town. We had hear great things about the recovery of Lake Lure and when we went to book a cabin, this cabin was available for our dates! Let me tell you it was worth the wait. The cabin itself was incredibly cosy, and in an amazing location. We were 5 minutes from Grey Hawk, an amazing local restaurant and coffee shop that we visited multiple times. It took us less than 15 minutes to get from the cabin to Rumbling Bald for some hiking and climbing! It never felt inconvenient to do anything in and around town due to the location. The jacuzzi was outstanding as well, and much needed after a couple long days of physical activity. The master bed was so comfortable, I slept like a baby both night- which is rare for me. All in all, this was worth the wait and I’m so glad we got a second chance to experience Mary Ann’s Cabin!

We truly enjoyed our stay at your warm, cute, and cozy cabin. The knotty pine woodwork was just amazing!! The kitchen was fully equipped and the cabin was immaculate. We enjoyed our time at Lake Lure in Mary Anns Cabin. It is very conveniently located to the lake, the beach area, Flower Bridge, Chimney Rock, etc. We'd stay there again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners promptly responded to all our emails before and during the stay. The property is decorated to reflect a mountain lake lifestyle. The kitchen was well equipped, and a sufficient amount of linens were available. Coffee on the deck in the mornings was a delight! We plan to book this property again.
This was just a nice weekend getaway with a couple of my girlfriends. The cabin has everything you will need and is really close the lake and Chimney Rock Park.
This place was so beautiful and quiet place to be, we really enjoyed being there

Let me introduce ourselves,we are Tim and Barbara. We were married in May 2006 and had our log cabin built in the summer of that year. We love the location and the neighbors here are very nice. We had looked all in the Lake Lure and Chimney Rock area and found this lot almost by accident. We named the cabin after Tim's mother. She had always wanted a cabin in the mountains and after raising 9 wonderful children we felt that she could also now have her dream. We consider ourselves very fortunate to find such a beautiful community.I grew up on Sullivan's Island, & Columbia SC Presently live in Rock Hill, SC
Why they chose this property
We love the beautiful lake and mountains all around. It is breath taking in all seasons. We took the tour of the lake and just realized how relaxing and beautiful it was. It is an added bonus that Chimney Rock is so close. We went to the top of Chimney Rock and got a birds eye view. WOW it is amazing!! Don't worry they have an elevator to take you to the top. My parents told me to always invest in real estate. It was Good advise!
What makes this property unique
We enjoy the location and all the kind people there. The lake and mountains are so peaceful as is the cabin. We enjoy watching the wildlife...birds, squirrels, and sometime deer. The deck is enjoyable with the rocking chairs and cooking out on the gas grill. We have enjoyed many evenings on the deck. The jacuzzi tub is amazing too! Especially after an nice walk and a quiet dinner!
