We chose this property despite it having very few reviews and, unfortunately, our experience highlighted why more guest feedback is important.While the home itself was comfortable, there were numerous maintenance and management issues that detracted from our stay. Several motorized blinds were not functioning due to dead batteries, the thermostat battery was failing, the ice maker was frozen solid and unusable, and there was an exposed light bulb in the shower area. We also found garbage left in the garage bin during extreme heat, resulting in maggots and fruit flies.In addition, we were not provided with the codes required to access certain amenities and pedestrian gates, which created unnecessary frustration.When we reported the issues, the response lacked organization and attention to detail. The first maintenance person was unable to locate the property. A second technician arrived unannounced and was unable to resolve the problems. He then returned the following day without notice, despite our request to be contacted in advance. Because we were away from the property, we were asked to allow access while we were not present, which was uncomfortable.None of these issues alone would have ruined our stay. However, taken together, they created the impression that the property was not being proactively maintained and that guest communication was not being managed effectively.I rarely leave negative reviews, but I believe future guests should have a complete picture.
