Gårdsvik Lakefront Vacation Home with Boat

Cosy holiday home in the woods by Lake Värmeln in Värmland. It is located in a lovely holiday area in Gårdsvik near the town of Värmskog. The property is situated on a peninsula on a small section of Lake Värmeln (recreational area) on a lot of approximately 2,000 square metres. The distance to the lake is about 200–250 metres (swimming area and boat dock). There is also a small log cabin on the property with two beds (bunk beds). Thanks to the great location and proximity to places like the Glaskogen Nature Reserve or the Norwegian border, it’s very easy to take trips there. There are neighbors in the vicinity of the house who give you plenty of privacy. However, you’re not completely alone in the forest either.

Amenities:
- General: Electric lighting, electric heating, running cold and hot water
- Kitchen with dining area equipped with an electric stove, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, toaster, etc. Standard kitchen amenities (dishes, silverware, etc.) are provided. The kitchen was renovated in 2020.
- Shower with sink
- Living room with a comfortable seating area, wood-burning stove, additional sleeper sofa, and colour TV (German channels)
- Bedroom with a double bed (German standard) for 2 people and a large built-in closet, with ample space for clothes, etc.
- Composting toilet (visually indistinguishable from a regular toilet—Separett Villa 9000 model) and 1 dry toilet in the outbuilding. Important: If you require a flush toilet, please do not book this house.
- Covered patio with patio furniture
- Parking directly in front of the house; there’s also space for sunbathing, etc.
- The small annex is equipped with 1 bunk bed, a built-in closet, a folding table, and chairs.
- A rowing boat on Lake Värmeln is included in the rental price. A canoe can be booked on-site for an additional fee.
