Haus Christ is located on the village square in Anger, the village that King Ludwig once called the most beautiful village in his kingdom. The building houses a hair salon and beauty salon, where you can treat yourself to some pampering by appointment.
Right on the village square, within walking distance, you’ll find a restaurant, café, pizzeria, butcher shop, and bakery, as well as a children’s playground and the tourist information office.
The idyllic Anger Christmas Market takes place every year on the second and third weekends of Advent (Saturday and Sunday) and is just a one- or two-minute walk from the holiday rental.
Completely renovated in 2021, this holiday rental with a magnificent mountain view is located on the ground floor and features its own balcony and a separate entrance. Spanning a generous 60 m², this modern and comfortably furnished accommodation can accommodate up to four people.
The separate bedroom is furnished with a double bed (180 x 200 cm) and a high-quality mattress. In addition, the sofa bed in the kitchen-living room can be easily converted into a comfortable bed with a sleeping surface of 170 x 200 cm.
Underfloor heating throughout the apartment ensures a comfortable living experience. The modern bathroom features a shower with a rain showerhead, a toilet, an urinal, and a hair dryer. Bed linens and towels are, of course, provided. Free Wi-Fi is also available.
The cosy kitchen-living room offers a seating area, a sleeper sofa, a TV, and a radio. The fully equipped kitchenette has everything you could need: a dishwasher, a four-burner ceramic cooktop, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a toaster, an immersion blender, a filter coffee maker with a grinder, and a Tassimo coffee machine.
As a welcome gift, you’ll find a bottle of mineral water, as well as a small bottle of beer and a small bottle of wine.
A washing machine is also available. For families, we’re happy to provide a high chair and a travel cot upon request. Bicycles, strollers, etc., can be stored safely in a lockable storage area. A free parking space is available right next to the house; additional free parking is just a five-minute walk away.
Enjoy relaxing days surrounded by nature and the impressive Bavarian mountains. Numerous walking, hiking, and biking trails invite you to actively explore the area. Just about two kilometres away is the picturesque Höglwörther See, featuring a swimming area and a lakeside café, the former Augustinian monastery, and a cosy monastery inn.
The region also offers many opportunities for varied day trips: Visit the Berchtesgaden National Park with the famous Königssee, Lake Chiemsee with its boat tours and castle tours, the spa town of Bad Reichenhall with its idyllic spa park, or the Mozart city of Salzburg—and much more.
Thanks to its proximity to the Austrian border, Anger is also an ideal starting point for winter sports enthusiasts. Numerous ski resorts are easily accessible, including the Götschen Ski Centre (24 km), Heutal (39 km), the Lofer Ski Resort (45 km), Winklmoosalm-Steinplatte (45 km), Werfenweng (62 km), Flachau (65 km), Hochkönig (85 km), and Obertauern (103 km).
