Just a few minutes’ drive away, a little off the beaten track from the tourist hotspots of Willingen and Winterberg, lies the small village of Heringhausen, nestled in the midst of a lush green natural area and situated directly on the beautiful Lake Diemel. Whether you’re seeking peace and quiet, an active holiday, or a family getaway, you’ll experience breathtaking views and unspoiled nature on certified hiking trails and designated mountain bike and cycling routes. For day trips, crystal-clear streams and romantic villages with historic buildings in the immediate vicinity are waiting to be discovered by you. The only thing missing was another armchair in the living room. The house is designed to accommodate up to 6 people; there were four of us. Two people can easily sit on the couch in the living room; there’s also an armchair and a stool without a backrest. That wasn’t comfortable—it just lacked the backrest. Any additional guests would have to use the chairs. The beds are simply fantastic! Comfortable chairs for long game nights with friends around the table! The sauna is a must in November—and it’s fantastic! We were a group of 6 friends and really enjoyed our time there! We were missing some glasses, so we called the property service, and they delivered them within 4 hours!
