Charming home in a wonderful location

We loved our stay in this lovely home. It is charming, comfortable and well appointed with a spectacular view of the mountains. The location on Ludwig StraBe is terrific, with restaurants, cafes, groceries, specialty shops and chocolate just steps away.

Great stay in Partenkirchen

Great location right by Ludwigstrasse but quiet and private. Public transport easily accessible. The apartment has excellent views of the mountains and is spacious and functional. We had a great time.

Directions to the location are a bit lacking. It is behind shops and Google maps does not locate it easily. The host would benefit to provide this detail. The outside cooking stove listed is not usable as it is overgrown with trees/weeds. The house was clean, supplies were plenty and on a great street with shops and restaurants.

This is an absolutely beautiful place located on our favourite street. We have made so many wonderful memories here together and cannot wait to come back soon. Everything is so easy, clean, quiet and perfect here that it's difficult to convey without sounding ridiculous. Very highly recommended. The only down side is that this beautiful house is unavailable for our 2024 trip - which given how wonderful this place is, does not come as a surprise.

We had an absolutely exceptional stay at this property and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Garmisch-Partenkirchen.The location is truly ideal—right in the heart of everything—making it easy to explore the town and surrounding area. The apartment itself is stunning: spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly well maintained.What really stood out was how exceptionally well-equipped it is. The kitchen is, without question, one of the best-equipped we’ve ever experienced, and the bar area—with its full range of specialty glassware—was a fantastic and thoughtful touch. Every detail has clearly been considered.The layout is also very practical, with the bedrooms conveniently located on the main floor, which made arriving and settling in with luggage so much easier. The washer and dryer, high-quality linens, and towels added to the overall comfort.The large, open living space with a lovely fireplace created a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the views of the Zugspitze are absolutely breathtaking.Overall, this property exceeded all expectations—beautiful, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you could need. It is truly top-notch, and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Wunderschön! Ich war dort mit meinen zwei Hunden (Deutsche Doggen) und wer zwei Hunde hat weiß, dass es gar nicht so einfach ist, etwas Tolles zu finden. Das Ludwigschlössl war wirklich einmalig für uns. Liebevoll ausgestattet, modern und zeitlos, in der Küche war wirklich alles vorhanden, man hätte sogar einen Kuchen backen können. Zwei Bäder mit Toilette, davon eins mit Waschmaschine und Trockner. Ich komme seit 50 Jahren nach Garmisch-Partenkirchen und bin auch oft in Farchant, habe aber Partenkirchen jetzt richtig lieben gelernt. Wenn man vor auf die Ludwigstraße geht gibt es viele Möglichkeiten zur Einkehr, es sind alle Geschäfte und eine Apotheke sowie der Lebensmittelmarkt fußläufig erreichbar und die Wohnung war auch ein guter Startpunkt für viele Wanderungen (z.B. Pfeiffer Alm ca. 40-50Min und schon um 08h geöffnet) ohne dass man das Auto benutzen musste. Der Garten ist riesig und super für die Hunde. Wenn man auf dem Balkon saß war es total ruhig. Geschlafen haben wir auch ausgesprochen gut. Ich bin wirklich dankbar diese Unterkunft gefunden zu haben und komme gerne wieder. Betreuung durch das Team Mahr auch wirklich hervorragend! Das mit der Einfahrt war gut zu bewältigen und man wird jeden Tag noch ein bisschen besser ;-)

WUNDERBAR! Wir haben unsere 2 Wochen Aufenthalt im "Ludwigsschlössl" sehr genossen! Das Haus verfügt über alles was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt. Die zentrale Lage, direkt an der historischen Ludwigstrasse ist besonders hervor zu heben. Die Buchung und Korrespondenz mit dem Vermieter war jederzeit sehr einfach, hilfsbereit und professionel. Wir können einen Aufenthalt im "Ludwigsschlössl" sehr empfehlen! Vielen Dank für einen wonderbaren Urlaub in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Sehr geräumiges Ferienhaus. Ruhige und trotzdem zentrale Lage. Bequeme Betten. Alles funktional und ausreichend. Auf dem Sofa finden 4 Personen nicht genügend Platz. Zufahrt zum Haus mit einem VW-Buzz möglich, allerdings etwas herausfordernd. Nächste Ladesäule fürs E- Fahrzeug in etwa 10 Gehminuten. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Wir, 5 köpfige Familie mit 2 Hunden hanen uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Kurze Wege zum Discounter, auch die Skipiste ist zu Fuß bzw. mit Bus und Bahn erreichbar. Haben für nächszes Jahr gleich reserviert. Schlüsselübergabe verlief auch problemlos.
