We’re Heather and Ludek, a nature-loving couple who feel most at home outdoors—whether we’re camping under the stars, hiking scenic trails, or spending peaceful days on the river. Ludek competed as a professional canoeist on the Czech Republic’s national team, and together we share a love of adventure and exploration. Between us, we’ve traveled to over 60 countries and have even lived in several along the way. Heather is an English teacher (you’ll notice plenty of books around the house!), and Ludek now works as a contractor.
Why they chose this property
We chose this location because of our love for the river and everything that comes with it—peace, beauty, and a slower pace of life. When our friends decided to sell this home, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to make it ours. It felt like the perfect place to create memories and share with others. We hope to eventually build on nearby land, but in the meantime, we’re excited to open this home to guests, as well as our friends and family, so others can enjoy this special spot just as much as we do.
