The condo was larger than we expected, with a fantastic view of the lake. It is back about 1/4 block from the water, but the view is between buildings. There are two Queen Anne chairs near the windows, and we turned them to face the water, and enjoyed a glass of wine, some conversation, and reading there. The balcony was lovely but it was simply too hot to go outside during our visit. Everything we needed in the condo was provided, and it was sparkling clean too. We enjoyed walking around the harbour with our dog and along the main street. We dined at the German restaurant both nights we stayed, as the food was authentic and our dog was welcomed. The parking took a minute to figure out, but one text and we were clear. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend others consider staying here.

I'll start with the good. Great location, the description accurately represented what the space was, and great communication with the host (timely and helpful).Now the bad. The beds are very uncomfortable. All of them. Clearly these are old mattresses with no cushion. The ad says the unit sleeps 9, but it barely slept 6. Two in the king bed, two in the queen bed. The sofa bed is the most uncomfortable bed, and very difficult for two people to sleep in given hos much noise it makes and moves when anyone on the bed moves. There is no way anyone could sleep on the cot. The mattress provided for the cot is very thin, and the cot wouldn't stay open. My wife ended up sleeping on one of the purple chairs with an ottoman. No extra linens or pillows or duvets - had to ask for that too.The kitchen - there is clearly water damage in the laminate just off the tile. The dishwasher leaked the first time we used it. Had to get maintenance to come and look at it. He immediately brought a new seal with him, and informed us that they've had issues with the dishwasher leaking before. Very skimpy on utensils. There were only two knives in the unit -- one steak knife and one larger knife. HOW? We had to ask for another knife just to make dinners, and it didn't have a spatual either, or scissors. Customers are choosing a VRBO so they can cook their own meals - make the kitchen functional to do that. Otherwise the unit was fine. Clean enough. Had cable (but I had to hook it up).
